Good Morning! Friday is always a happy day because the weekend is starting. Also we got 7/10" rain yesterday in a beautiful downpour.
Fridays just seem to be more fun because you know you don't have to get up early tomorrow morning. I still get up at the same time.
Summer is fading away slowly. We were in the 90's several days this past week. We even hit 100° yesterday but we hope to only be in the 80's today and for several more days to come.
A lot of my Cardinals look like this as the seasons begin to change. Once in a while a bright red male will show up, but most of them look faded now.
I did see some very colorful butterflies this past week too. Some yellow, some orange, and some blue ones. The Bees were very busy around some of the flowers too.
Now with the days getting shorter, some of the flowers are very happy. My Yellow Rose bushes had a bloom or two on each bush. So before the weekend starts be sure to enjoy
So I found some graphics, I think I made them about 10 years ago and I think some of these are from pictures that I took. I just thought I would share them with you. This first one is our dog, Miss Kitty Wells, who died a few years back. Enjoy your Tuesday with Blessings & Hugs!
I want to give you a heads up about the month of September and possibly beyond (or it could be less). I might not be here as often to post dailys to you.
I retired over 10 years ago. Then I started working part time. This will be the 4th time that I work "almost" full time until a replacement can be found. Two years ago the person Kelly hired said she would stay 4 years or more and never move to be closer to her children. She has been there for 2 years, and now she is moving. So we have already scheduled the month of September and I will be working about 14 of 22 days. It usually takes months for Edward Jones to hire and train a brand new person. However, if someone transfers to this office, it might not take as long.
I love working with Kelly and Jen and the clients. Each day there is fun for me but I am getting older and slower. When working, I require more sleep. I will try to read and respond when I can each evening. Please know that I will look forward to reading your posts and seeing your beautiful graphics. I start working Tuesday, September 2nd, the day after Labor Day.
I hope you have a wonderful last week of August. News coming up for September, look for it.
I know that in some places, some of you are getting cooler temperatures. But Summer is still here!
Yes, there are less than 30 days left of my favorite season. I love the heat and the long daylight days.
As the days begin to get shorter and the temperatures begin to cool once in a while with less humidity, the colors of the sunrise and sunset get more beautiful.
Yes, I love to take pictures of the colorful paintings by God. So as you start to celebrate Autumn or Fall, remember that even the end of Summer can still be a beautiful HOT mess.
I'm not saying I don't like Fall or Spring, but I am saying I don't like Winter and it comes all too soon for me. By the time the sun sets in Summer, I will be counting the days until it is back again.
I will be this forever summer girl from Cat ready for Vacations and fishing and fun memories sitting in the sun! Blessings & Hugs!
