Gosh, I almost forgot what sleeping late was like!  I rarely do that.  Do you get up at the same time every day, even weekends?  We usually do!  

Summer is in FULL swing in the DFW area.  Our high yesterday was 104°.

Even the breeze was like when you open the oven to remove what you have in it.  

There are playgrounds with water features for kids but it would be nice just to lay in a cool creek bed.  

For some reason, it never looks hot at the beach or on an island in the middle of nowhere.  

So let's just dream of floating down the river with Garfield and make the most of the month of August.  

Hope you are enjoying your weekend. Temperatures ideal here for August in St. Louis with very low humidity.  Some haze in the sky from the forest fires in Canada but not much. Enjoy your favorite adult beverage and music my friend.   Jazzsinger
