you are so right about the loss of friends..Donna was a hard one for me to lose, I had known her for about 15 yrs when she passed. I hadn't lost a spouse, at least not from death, I couldn't even imagine the pain from that. I told my hubby he HAS TO outlive me! I had a hard time living after my 1st husband left me after 24 yrs of marriage, only by the grace of God did I get out of my depression and decided that "living well is the best revenge"....
I wished you would post a photo of you playing the guitar Greg, I think it would be cool to see!!!!
Hello Greg, your new theme looks good! You've share some pretty graphics lately in your comments. May I snag them? Thought they would make a good background.
oh Greg, I'm sorry to hear that, how long has it been since your wife passed? that's 2 holes in your soul... my big sister "Sissy" was more like my mom growing up, she passed away in 2021 unexpectedly, after going into the hospital 10 days earlier, with diverticulosis, she ended up with a perforated colon and septis quickly set in, she didn't have a spleen, (had to have it removed after a bad car accident way back in 1968), so she really didn't have a good immune system to help her fight that sepsis. I've also lost my step dad, a step son and several sister-n-laws, but losing my mom and my "2nd mom"...really hurt my heart and soul.
By the way, I love your new page!

17 years since my mom passed away. I miss her a lot. The weekends and the years seem to fly by now don't they? I'm looking forward to Fall. I think most everyone is since it has been such a hot Summer for well everyone. The season after Fall not so much LOL!
