further on, his friend Berny was enjoying a banana... while Lise, his sister, sheltered by an umbrella from the harsh sun's rays, was walking along the water's edge, dressed in her Sunday best...
Gerald, the crab, proudly demonstrated his ability to use his sharp claws wisely by building a beautiful sandcastle.
Kiki, the hedgehog, and his companion were sipping a delicious cold drink, while their son was collecting shells... Freddy the goat was lounging in his deck chair...

You see, everyone is making the most of this beautiful summer weather as best they can...
I, too, plan to take a few days of vacation soon...but I haven't decided on the date yet...
I know it isn't bedtime for us just yet, but after the last week and a half we have had, we were asleep before 7:30 pm last night. I finally read every sweet post from all of you and comments too. Such a nice cool day as autumn is trying to come in the back door. These 70's degree temps are glorious. Thinking about pumpkin butter and apple butter jam along with pumpkin pie. Yes I have fall on my brain and a smile on my face. May you have a pleasant afternoon reading a special book and or sipping on a cup of coffee or maybe a spot of tea. Smiles Gloria
Greg the weather here has been beautiful. Just cloudy for today and tomorrow, then the sun will be back on Thursday. Then the heat wil be back starting on Monday and all next week.
yeah, the house always needs something! LOL! I've been putting off dusting, but HAVE to do it soon, before the dust is so heavy a person can write their name in it! LOL!

Currently 67..We've had over 4" rain since yesterday. There's been flooding in areas east of us. Don't think we will see sunshine till maybe next weekend. Of course it's going to be warming up again, but will enjoy the fall temps while they last.
Hi Greg! well, it's been a busy morning for me today, picked up 2 prescriptions, I also needed to get a new phone charger...decided to stop by Hobby Lobby to check out what they still had left on their 75% off sale items...got a few things, but not exactly what I was hoping to find...oh well!
