   Hi Tom, what a scare! How awful! It seems you live in a house and not an apartment. Good thing nothing more happened. Just a big scare. I live in a penthouse apartment, it's a three-story building, mine is the tallest (Actually, this whole area around the beach is like that. It's called Jardim Oceânico Jardim is GARDEN. Buildings taller than 3 stories are not allowed. You already know a bit about Rio de Janeiro, so sometimes a plane flies very low, making a violent noise...it's terrifying, it sounds like it's going to land on my terrace up there among the plants and the pool.

It's very rare, but it's a good scare.
