Just wanted to stop in and visit with you.  We are halfway through the month of August.  I finally got the pictures changed last week on my page and thought I would tell you how much I appreciate your daily posts.

Good Monday Morning!  The Hummingbirds at our house are happy as they have fresh food to fight over.  

Now don't get me wrong, our Hummingbirds love all the nectar from the flowers too.  

The females are so plain but I love watching their tongue go out and back in when they are at the feeders and the sounds they make too.  

I would love to see one that was this beautiful color.  When I video or take a picture of my Hummers, they are in the shade and their colors don't pop!  

But I do see them even in the rain coming to the feeder.  It has been quite a while since we have had rain.  

But every now and then the light is just right and I get to see the beautiful green and a male's ruby red throat.
