Hi Ric. It’s been a reasonably busy day. Went to Our Friday morning Group just after 10am and met up with the girls. Then back home just after midday. Made a light lunch then into town to collect Scripts. Returned home and caught up with some chores and now relaxing with a coffee and dropping into Boomers before getting dinner. Had my car at the garage yesterday for the annual service so that’s out the way for another 12 months. Temp now is just on 41f and will fall as the night sets in. I have noticed that our days are much longer now so Spring is on the way. My front garden needs weeding but too cold to be out there yet. I can’t do the things now as I once did:). What are your plans for the weekend? I’m thinking that would depend on the weather. Sure hope most of the heat has passed. Enjoy your day Rick. God Bless. Pat.
Good afternoon - I'd like to believe that we'll have an early fall, but I'll believe it when I see it. I know what you mean about pictures. They are okay, if the person sends a nice note with it.. I see you have a lot of picture senders on your list.. I don't have any.. We've been ordering take out instead of going out.. Or make something easy like mac & cheese or stir fry.. I had leftover pizza tonight.. Leftover from Monday evening when we ordered out.. Last night we ordered taco salad.. Do you have Taco Tuesday where you live? Did you ever have a taco salad before? It's really good..
Our rain has ended..checked thr gauge a short time ago and we have gotten over 7" rain ..we needed a good soaker though. July was a very warm month. Read earlier today where our region will see a warmer than normal early Fall. We've seen this before. I remember many past Thanksgivings where we ate outside. The seasons are for sure blended, and they have been for a while. Anxious to get back outside to pick up limbs. We'll be working in the yard this weekend..grass has taken off now. Have a wonderful rest of your week...
Autumn beauty, Rick.. Leaves all red, gold and orange.. I start getting antsy when August arrives, because I know fall is getting closer.. I like this site better than Noth..What do you think? I haven't been out to eat at a restaurant in awhile.. It was so miserable here in July, I didn't feel like going out.. I'll have make up for it when the seasons change.. Just wanted to stop by to say hello and to see how you're doing.. Best Wishes
Cooler temps here still..68 currently..we've had over 4 1/2" rain since yesterday. This time next week it will return to low 90's. Today, out hot water heater went out. A month ago we had to replace plumbing lines. When it rains it pours. Our home was built in 1955. Lived here 30 years. Praying no more major repairs anytime soon.
Hi Rick! well, it's been a busy morning for me today, picked up 2 prescriptions, I also needed to get a new phone charger...decided to stop by Hobby Lobby to check out what they still had left on their 75% off sale items...got a few things, but not exactly what I was hoping to find...oh well! I hope you have a wonderful day my friend!
Hi Ric. I hope your new week has begun well. I’m still coming to terms that we are in our last month of winter. Our rainfall is way below average for this time of the year. We did get some nice falls yesterday afternoon that the weather bureau never predicted. Mind you they’ve not done a very good job this year usually way out with their predictions. Your days must be getting much cooler now.
I need to go back into town tomorrow to have that blood test. The reason I was annoyed last friday finding them closed is because I have very thin deep veins and have to drink litres of water hours before I go, to help swell the veins so that the are more accessible otherwise I end up like a “pin cushion”. Add to the fact that I litterally gag on too much water and feel quite ill so it’s not something I look forward too. Enjoy the day Ric. God bless. Pat.
