Our water heater was replaced around 2009 or 2010. I figure maybe we should get 25 years off of it...time will tell. And you're correct, they don't make 'em like they use to, or for anything else. It's all about making us continue to spend money replacing stuff. Our homeowners insurance went up earlier this year, based off of the housing market. Got notice last week that our water rates will increase by 4.00 each month. It is my prayer we can move over the next 10 years, maybe sooner.
Temps were in the low 40's overnight then maxed to 50 during the day. Needless to say I spent the day indoors in the warmth. The bureau is predicting rain from tomorrow through to next week but I'm not expecting much. We shall wait and see. How is everything with you Ric? Have you settled in to this new site?. Hey Rick..a busy Wednesday,,saw chiropractor this morning..therapy went well and I'm moving around better. Plumbers came yesterday..got here 8 am and finished up by noon. Very good workers and they addressed everything in detail they did..basically all of our old cast iron pipes were totally replaced. They also set up air vent(hose) behind our washer..We should have had this done 20 years ago. House remains a work in progress, still after living here almost 30 years. Hioe your week has been good.

Hi Rick! I'm moving slow this morning, a lizard got in my hair last night, LOL YES, that's true....I woke up at 1:30 a.m. feeling something crawling on my head, reached up and grab it, thought it may be a grasshopper, threw it across the room, got up, turned on the bathroom light, found the critter, it was a gecko! he ran like lightening, got inside a hall closet that is right ourside our bedroom entry. So, I got him trapped in there...couldn't go back to sleep trying to figure out how a dang lizard (gecko) got into our bedroom, and not noticed by either of our 2 dogs, and they were on tthe bed with us! The lizard has been caught and released...
