Heat index temps have surely returned. The next 10 days show the same. Yesterday wasn't too bad, humidity wise. Not today though. Hope to get the feeders replenished this weekend. Hope your week has been good.

Late evening storm moved over us last night..bringing an inch of rain. Now that dog days has ended, cooler temps...hopefully, will come sooner than later. Got to fill the bird feeders up again. I miss seeing them at the kitchen window.

Hi Ric. We had a nice rain over the weekend that set the creeks running and filled rain tanks. That was welcome to the farmers. The sun is breaking through this afternoon but it’s still chilly outdoors. I think another change is to pass through Wednesday night but not as strong. Not much happening here.  I haven’t ventured anywhere for a week or two. Can’t at the moment. Got my electricity account in this morning and its about the same as it was this quarter last year so am pleased with that. The one thing I won’t do is skimp on heating or cooling. What have you been doing?
