                      TRIPPING ON YOU

If I were you and you were me,

What a crazy trip that would be.

If we could trade places for just a minute,

I'd look in your mind and see what's in it.

Tripping out on being you,

If I could that's what I'd do.

I'd really love to see your points of view,

Your memories old and memories new.

Man I must be tripping out,

But wouldn't it be so far-out?

                  A SILENT DANCE

My lights are dim thinking of him too much,

He stole my heart and my mind and such.

I want us to escape where no one will know,

The way we did when no one would think so.

He stands outside till his cigarette is gone,

He thinks maybe he's been here way too long.

I grab my things, fix my hair and start to leave,

He walks in and looks at me as if he can't believe.

He tells me not to leave to give it one more chance,

In the darkened room we hold each to a silent dance.

               GROUCHY MOUTH

Off to the dentist I will go today,

I wish I could stay home and play.

I will sit upset in the dental chair,

I'd rather be anywhere then there.

Oh well I love nice teeth in my mouth,

But when I get home I'll be a grouch!!

                 HE NEVER KNEW

After school I looked around

There was nobody to be found

I took the chalk I drew a heart

Forgot to erase it,  not too smart

The teacher saw it  the very next day

She asked who with the chalk did play

I kept quiet since the boy would hear

He never knew I loved him,  to this year

                      Anxiously Waiting

I'm just sitting here by the phone

wondering when is he coming home

I hate to feel so scared and alone

I'm not used to this loud silence

From outside is usually violence

It's so eeerily strange all alone

Waiting anxiously by the phone.
