                    CHILDHOOD MEMORIES

Childhood memories are dear to me,

I know it wasn't the best it could be.

I Love the days when we were all kids ,

The crazy stupid little things that we did.

Like making a house up in an old tree,

Life was so different.. fun and carefree.

Dirt clod fights with the our best friends,

Simple fun times when the fun didn't end.

We snuck out at night.. oh we were cool,

Getting in trouble for ditching grade school.

If I could only go back for one single day,

I would try to find me a way I could stay.

                   I PLAYED THE CARD

Sometimes my life is so damn hard,

It's my own fault I played the card.

Love is never what you expect,

Seems I'm always put to a test.

I wish I knew what to do right now,

Maybe I'll find my answer somehow.

Deep in my heart I know I'm sweet,

Happiness depends on who I meet.

They say they love you with all their heart,

One thing goes wrong they want to part.

I really don't know which way to turn,

I know in my heart is a terrible burn.

I'm too old to keep playing this game,

It's so sad I have only myself to blame.
