                                 WAKE UP CALL

Twenty five years old.. the boys so young,

living..loving.. strong.. nothing was wrong.

Beautiful little apartment.. our own place,

with jungle themes and plants I'd decorate.

Feeling fine, sleeping as my t.v. went to snow,

my oldest shaking me.. Mom hurry we gotta go.

Smoke billowing.. fire burning around my head,

scrambling to find my littlest one, a fire in his bed.

Grabbing my babes.. we rushed out the front door,

within minutes, we stared as our place was no more.

This was a strange and very dangerous wake up call,

Be extra careful, more than possessions, our babies lives

mean it ALL!!!
