For Mothers.
Posted On 10/14/2015 10:36:08

I remember the times
You tucked me in bed
And hushed me unto sleep.
The knees I scraped
You gently healed
My tears you wiped
all clean.

I remember the stories
You told me
When lonely I would be...
That outfit I saw in the window
You sacrificed for me.

Mother's love surpasses
All the oceans and the seas...
Patience truly abounds her
All the dreams she has for me.

She is your friend and confidante
With whom you can rely...
And with the care deep in her heart
She'll calm your fears away.

God made Mothers our Angels
To keep us safe from strife...
And through the years
All lessons taught
She still stands by your side.

You can see it in the running brook
And in a rippling fountain
Cascading down the mountian side
God's sea of fresh pure water

You can see in humid clouds
As they drift across the sky...
And release bursts of rain-drops
Turning streets awry.

When the clouds are lifted
And the blue of sky peeps through
Our eyes look to the west
For the miracle come true.

God's promise hugs the earth
With radiant hues of bliss
The wondrous site our eyes behold
The Rainbow...Heaven's Kiss.

Window o Life
Posted On 08/31/2015 06:12:15

The face I see
The laugh I hear
The hand I touch
The wall which
Spares me not…
The sea of liquid dreams
Unlock the mystery
Of the unconscious
Window of Life.

Inside each tear drop
A mystic night takes flight.
Oh! those selfish dreams
We so guilelessly hover
Storms ceaseless flight;
Reflecting characters
Of which we are or not.
A visual screen of dream’s
Prophetic light.

From b’neath dormant rot
Ascending to the realms of truth
Dream on…awake not in terror.
A vivid fades the garish day
Leaving remnants along the way
Unconsciously you become
The artist.

There comes a Time
Posted On 05/12/2015 04:55:50

There comes a time

in all our lives

Regrets will play a role.

We should have,could have

But didn't

vowed to do better

Next time.

we hardly felt

the passsage

of our years.

Old loves, New love arrive

We say and feel something good.

God has a plan

For every one he created

We are kind of special

Don't yhour think?

So...pick up your head

And realize

God made man of good

not bad.

WHEN THE LIGHTS GO OUT.
Posted On 09/26/2013 02:03:37

I thought you all would enjoy reading this. So I copied and pasted this for you. Enjoy as I did. Thank you....Mari Ana.

When the Lights Go Out

One of our sons got my wife and me a Roku last Christmas and we have enjoyed the many Netflix films that are offered.  Lately, we have been watching a television series called “Revolution.”  This series begins with the disaster of all generated power going out throughout the world.  It depicts how governments fall and chaos grips America.  People are so hungry they will kill their neighbor for a small portion of food.  Militias are quickly formed in various parts of the country with evil people in leadership.  I couldn’t help think about the possibility of the lights going out in this country.  Some would say that would be unthinkable so why talk about it.

Not long ago President Reagan spoke of a “City on a Hill.”  He was talking about America being this world’s last great hope and how we, as a nation, have the responsibility to lead the rest of the world toward a better society.  I took his vision to heart and believed that, with the fall of Communism a few years later, Reagan’s vision may come true.

Lurking in the back of my mind, however, was the fact that I have always wondered why America is not referred to in the Bible during the last days of civilization.  Some will try and stretch the Scriptures to declare we are, but that is quite a stretch.  The horrifying realization of America’s demise is evident when we read of the assaults upon Israel in the last days and no other country is there to defend her (Zech. 12).  We have either been defeated previously or have ceased to be a world power or worse yet, have joined the rest of the world to eliminate Israel from the globe.

The physical lights may never go out in America but some other very important lights are dimming every year.  There are three major types of “lights” that are still flickering but not as bright as they use to be. They are:

  1. Spiritual Lights – this is the light that made America great in the first place.  It was for religious freedom that North America was founded as a Christian society.  We soon became the world’s greatest missionary sender and were blessed by God to the point where we became the envy of the world.  There were different periods of revival and reformation in this country that kept us spiritually fine-tuned.  I could write several articles on this subject alone, but let me simply say at this time, we don’t have time for revival that would bring reformation to America.  That’s it, we simply don’t have time!  The priority and sacrifice it would take for revival is no longer in the minds of most all American churches.  Instead we are rapidly witnessing a falling away from the faith.
  2. Social Lights – When I speak of “social lights” I am talking about the health of our society.  We are more divided now than we have been in 150 years.  The moral condition of our nation is repulsive to the Muslims who hate us and other nations of the world who once looked to us as the moral leaders of civilization.  Could you have imagined just 20 years ago that we would be legalizing homosexual marriage and declaring that we have “evolved” morally in order to give the homosexual this right to call their unions a “marriage?”  We are morally sick from the top of our head to the bottom of our foot!  Corruption in our government sets an example that the “ends justify the means” and therefore we can cast off any biblical restraints we once lived by.  Our schools are teaching our children lies about our history and instead insisting on political correctness which calls evil good and good evil.
  3. Physical Lights – By “physical lights” I mean our economy and military might.  Our economy will fall!  It is no longer a question of how, but when.  We no longer can pay the interest on our national debt.  The middle class family made more money in 1989 than it does today and there appears to be no end to this slide toward economic collapse.  Our military superiority will continue to decline while China’s and Russia’s continues to increase.  There may never be a war between the 3 world powers, they may only need to ask us to “turn over the keys” and we will be compelled to do just that.  As our economy continues to decline, our alabaster cities will dim such as Detroit experienced in recent years.
I know I sound like a “gloom and doom” preacher, but I wasn’t always that way.  I was an eternal optimist like President Reagan some 30 years ago.  The difference is that now I do not see how this boat can be turned around, except for maybe one possibility – a spiritual awaking!

Earlier I said we don’t have time for revival.  I still believe that to be the sorry case, but, the decline of the moral, social and economic condition in this country can be used of God to bring America to its knees.  On our knees we may seek the Lord once again and experience His help and deliverance from total collapse.  The only other possibility is that we, like the Jews in their exodus,  harden our hearts as trying times come upon us and quickly usher in the day of reckoning.  What will it be?  I am not entirely sure except for the fact that I still do not see America in the writings during the end times!

Did you love America
Posted On 09/13/2013 01:46:22

I want to share this with my people here. I have permission from Neo to post this. In fact everyone is posting this to other sites and to friends. It is a great write, Neo writes political blogs at Blogster one of the sites I belong to.

Unless we are willing to deny the laws of physics, we have to accept that the winds of revolution are blowing. How violent that revolution will be this time around, depends on how long it is before the dam breaks. Every once in awhile we hit a nerve with a blog post, and that's what happened when I wrote one back in 2011. I feel that this is one of my best works--perhaps my only work worth repeating, and I implore you to read it, and send it on to your friends since we are closer than ever to drastic change in America. I only ask that you use it as written, and give me a courtesy link back to this page. Thank You, and may God Bless America! ~Neo

DID YOU LOVE AMERICA? (Originally posted Wednesday, July 20, 2011 by Neo)

Do you realize our country, the country many of us loved, and were willing to lay down our lives for, is no more? Don’t despair my fellow refugees and citizens of our beloved former America, but please do come to terms with the fact that our country was ill and dying for decades and it has now ceased to exist as we once knew it.

Nevertheless, this is not intended as an essay of gloom, but as a signpost denoting the reality of where we are, and an ensign for some, of the second American Revolution that has already begun without them. During its lifespan, the United States had forty and four men who called themselves President, but history likely will record the official number as forty-three, with George W. Bush as its last, and among the worst in the first dispensation of American independence.

John Adams loved the spirit of revolution inspired by Thomas Paine’s pamphlet, Common Sense, but he also bemoaned at length the “leveling spirit” of unbridled democracy. Adams correctly believed, there was no good government that was not a Republic. He felt there was not yet sufficient civic virtue in the colonies to support a Republic, and so he counseled against immediate abandonment of the accepted property-based franchise in determining a right to vote.

Adams was concerned that every man without a farthing would eventually, "demand an equal voice in all the acts of state.” Even though his lament included women and children voting, his point was clear considering the times, that only those who had the wherewithal to think and act rationally should be allowed to vote. Otherwise we would suffer a democratic legislature that would use “the will of the people” to enforce tyranny...which is precisely where we are today.

To a point, Adams had been somewhat conservative in his approach to independence compared to his more radical contemporaries. He was home in Braintree when he heard news of British troops firing on the Minutemen at Lexington, and at that instant, John Adams ceased to be a disgruntled subject of the King…but rather, he and many others, were instantly transformed by that act of aggression, into 100% red-blooded Americans.

In early March of 1775, American and British cannons roared at the Siege of Boston, rattling window in Braintree some twelve miles away. John Adams wife Abigail and their children were in Braintree, where she wrote to her husband, “Cannon continued firing and my heart kept pace with them all night.” Adams had left his cherished wife and children to fend for themselves, and his once prestigious law practice had vanished in his absence. What was it that drove the “Host of Worthies,” as Jefferson called them fifty years later, to such extreme action?

While Southern aristocrats called for peace, and insisted that British commissioners were on their way to reconcile with the colonies, Adams dismissed such hope as an “airy fairy,” and pushed for escalation of the war. In May, Adams wrote Abigail and told her Great Britain had, “at last driven America to the last step, a complete separation from her.” He said there is, “something unnatural and extremely odious in a government 1000 leagues off. A whole government of our own choice, managed by Persons whom We love, revere and can confide in, has charms in it, for which Men will fight.”

And there it is…good government for which men will fight, and the odiousness of a government 1000 leagues off. How far off are the puppet masters pulling the strings of the usurper in the White House and our deaf representatives from both political parties? We have come full circle…we are again but a collection of colonies wanting representation, but not getting it, needing protection from a foreign invasion, but having the invasion aided by those who should but do not protect our borders.

Our national seat of government is under siege, our country is in dire straits, and we are without a pulse of representation, but the nation’s lifeblood is in her people, and the nation’s heart beats within our own breasts where the Constitution is indelibly written...and there is where it lives on, not in Washington. The first dispensation of American independence took a deadly detour under FDR, and has just recently passed away from the affliction.

It is now up to us to insure that the invading government run by the tyranny of democratic mob rule does not stand, but that a Republic rededicated to the rule of law and limited by our Constitution, shall not perish from the earth. Restoring America and American liberty will require a complete rejection of the illegal presidency of the Obama administration, and a complete removal of both houses of Congress, but it can be done.

John Adams returned to Boston the morning after the Boston Tea Party. He wrote in his diary, “Last night, 3 Cargoes of Bohea Tea were emptied into the Sea. This morning a Man of War sails. This is the most magnificent Movement of all. There is a Dignity, a Majesty, a Sublimity in this last Effort of the Patriots that I greatly admire. This Destruction of the Tea is so bold, so daring, so firm, intrepid, & inflexible, and it must have so important Consequences and so lasting, that I cannot but consider it as an Epocha in History…The Question is whether the Destruction of this Tea was necessary? I apprehend it was absolutely and indispensably so.”

I agree with President Adams. Do you know your history? What to do next?
