And the next brick in the road to tyranny: A U.S. attorney in Tennessee says that posting comments critical of Islam on Facebook and other  social media could violate civil rights laws.

Translation: The Feds are monitoring your Internet postings and will soon be targeting anyone who is anti-Islam, most of whom I’m guessing would be Christians and Jews.

Hmm. Do you suppose that might even be conservative Christians and Jews?

The pattern continues.

It’s a good thing that I and most of the folks who post here only post facts about the only world religion to be founded by a warlord, and which is in competition against the religion of atheism for the most people killed in its name.

Bill Killian, U.S. attorney for the Eastern District of Tennessee, is planning to hold a meeting next week sponsored by a local Muslim group.

“This is an educational effort with civil rights laws as they play into freedom of religion and exercising freedom of religion,” Killian told the Tullahoma News. “This is also to inform the public what federal laws are in effect and what the consequences are.”

He said that Facebook comments that insult Islam and violate civil rights laws are under federal jurisdicti0n. “That’s what everybody needs to understand,” he said.

As justification, he brought up a posting by a Tennessee official that showed a shotgun pointing at the camera with a caption that said, “How to wink at a Muslim.”

“If a Muslim had posted ‘How to Wink at a Christian,’ could you imagine what would have happened?” Killian said.

As a matter of fact, we can. Nothing would have happened, as always.

Because Islam is the Left’s partner of convenience in the destruction of Christianity and Judaism.

Facebook is already complicit with the anti-conservative message. It isn’t consistent, probably because it hasn’t gotten the legal all-clear yet, but postings by conservatives have a way of disappearing from Facebook pages.

Just the other day, the up-and-coming rock group Madison Rising, which is unabashedly conservative, had its star-spangled album cover blocked from Facebook with no explanation.

Killian’s blather about Muslims’ civil rights should be taken as a warning that the Obama Administration is going to take its war on conservatives to a new front very soon.

The president decided last Thursday – five years into his presidency – to finally address the gravest threat to our nation and the West in the wake of a bloody wave of jihad attacks under his sloppy and feckless watch.

He said, “Victory will be measured in parents taking their kids to school; immigrants coming to our shores; fans taking in a ballgame; a veteran starting a business; a bustling city street.”

What does that even mean? He speaks of “victory” when he is the architect of defeat. He speaks of victory while the Fort Hood victims languish and slaughtering jihadist Nidal Hasan still has not been brought to trial, but has received more than a quarter-of-a-million dollars in compensation. He speaks of victory when he won’t even call the jihad attack on a London street “terrorism,” instead terming it “senseless violence.”

Jihad beheading victim Lee Rigby will receive the same tribute as soldiers who die in action, but Fort Hood jihad victims are victims of a “criminal act of single individual,” not international terrorism. Why would Obama authorize a drone hit on Anwar al-Awlaki (who never killed anyone) but not give the victims of his Islamic preachings the same military designation?

What is his plan? It’s to partner with Muslim Brotherhood groups in America that work feverishly to “eliminate and destroy” America from within. Obama said Thursday that

“the best way to prevent violent extremism is to work with the Muslim American community – which has consistently rejected terrorism – to identify signs of radicalization, and partner with law enforcement when an individual is drifting toward violence.”

Work with the Muslim American community? Just as Obama said this, former Hamas-CAIR official Cyrus McGoldrick urged Muslims not to talk to law enforcement. “And never let them in your home.” This is Hamas-CAIR’s policy as well. They urge Muslims not to cooperate with the authorities. Really, Obama? You’re counting on these Islamic supremacists?

Robert Spencer said,

“The Muslim American community has consistently rejected terrorism? Four separate studies since 1998 have all found that 80 percent of U.S. mosques were teaching jihad, Islamic supremacism, and hatred and contempt for Jews and Christians. … And in the summer of 2011 came another study showing that only 19 percent of mosques in U.S. don’t teach jihad violence and/or Islamic supremacism.”

But Obama wants to work with the Muslim American community – despite the fact that all the major Muslim groups in the U.S. are linked in various ways to the Muslim Brotherhood, which is dedicated in its own words to “eliminating and destroying Western civilization from within.” What’s his plan? To close Gitmo and release the killers, when we know the recidivism rate is extraordinarily high. He stands by his drone attacks while having denied the motive of jihadic doctrine. He is killing Americans and yet he whines that we “compromised our basic values – by using torture to interrogate our enemies.”

He is denigrating the Bush administration’s waterboarding of three killers that saved thousands of lives and led to the killing of Osama bin Laden. Our soldiers are waterboarded so they understand the process. Who does this poser think he’s kidding? He kills people, spies on journalists and abandons our ambassador and other Americans in Libya, and he is preaching to us?

Obama says that there have been no large-scale attacks in the U.S. I disagree. Scores of large scale attacks were thwarted. That counts. And Fort Hood and Boston were large scale. Hundreds of people living with shrapnel, broken flesh and bone – and the dead.

Our delusional president claims our standing in the world is what it was. I beg to differ. We are much weaker under his reign. Obama’s abandonment of our allies in Egypt, Libya, Israel and Eastern Europe has weakened our hegemony and influence in those regions. And he has effectively surrendered to the Taliban in Afghanistan.

Obama claims that “unrest in the Arab World has also allowed extremists to gain a foothold in countries like Libya and Syria.” That, too, is a deliberate misrepresentation of what happened. Obama backed jihadists. That’s what happened in the Muslim world. Did he think that backing jihadists in Egypt, Libya, Tunisia and now Syria would end well?

What’s his plan? Why didn’t Obama mention that his administration scrubbed all counter terrorism materials and manuals of jihad and Islam – disarming law enforcement and counter terrorism officials? Where did that get us? Boston.

When Obama speaks of the threat on our shores, he only cites the rare non-Muslim attacks: “Finally, we face a real threat from radicalized individuals here in the United States. Whether it’s a shooter at a Sikh temple in Wisconsin; a plane flying into a building in Texas; or the extremists who killed 168 people at the federal building in Oklahoma City.”

He doesn’t say a word about the hundreds of thwarted, and in some cases successful, acts of jihad. He goes on to explain that jihadists are lying when they quote Quran chapter and verse and wage war in the case of Islam. Obama said, “This ideology is based on a lie, for the United States is not at war with Islam.”
No, it is Obama who is lying
about the ideology. And while we may not be at war with Islam, clearly there is a significant part of Islam that is at war with us. Are we going to fight back?

Obama’s ‘Iron Curtain’ descends on America

Under the Marxist rule of President Barack Hussein Obama, Uncle Sam morphs day by day into ‘Uncle Satan’.  Ironic when contemplating that Iran has long called America “the great Satan”.

Far more wily than Uncle Sam or Uncle Sugar, ‘Uncle Satan’ lures scores of U.S. citizens motivated by entitlement mentality with food stamps,  free cell phones and unquestioned access to social security,  into a trap from which they will never escape. 

Comfortable with the guarantee the government will look after them from cradle to grave, few see the walls going up around them.

Canada Free Press (CFP) reader Alan Beckler sends interesting but chilling thoughts about the walls going up around American citizens today.

“While doing some Cold War research today, I ran across a most interesting article on the Berlin Wall history. Attached is an excerpt. What is so chilling is that one could change the German names to present administration names and with our current IRS and DOJ ‘scandals’, it is really chilling.

Dire warnings from this excerpt from ‘The Rise and Fall of the Berlin Wall’ will be lost on low information voters dependent on government handouts but will send chills down the spines of the millions who see that the IRS and Justice Department scandals mark the beginning of the ultimate capture of the U.S. citizenry.

Nothing in the Common Core curriculum teaches children about the fate of ordinary people trapped behind the Berlin Wall.  Their teachers likely think of the Wall in terms of Alfred Hitchcock’s movies.

It was only 24 years ago; roughly one generation ago, that the Berlin Wall came down.  Celebrations televised worldwide were joyous, people scaled the wall, with souvenir hunters taking chunks of it home for the mantle piece.  Like the tragedies of many wars, too soon forgotten were the 5,000 people who attempted to escape over an Iron Curtain, that stood for 28 long years, including their estimated death toll of well over 600.

Just like some governments we know determined to never let any crisis go to waste, the Socialists watched for the right moment to entrap their own citizens in 1961 Germany.

“Building workers in East Berlin’s Stalinallee confronted by a 10% production quota increase saw no reason to strain themselves for a meagre paypacket, and on June 16, 1953 they stopped work. Next day their action was repeated in over 350 towns and cities across the DDR.

“Strikes became demonstrations, not just for new economic policies, but for free, Germany-wide elections and an end to the all-pervading Socialist Party rule. The East German government was at a loss. Soviet tanks rolled in, the uprising was put down and several hundred lost their lives. In that year, another 332,000 would leave for the West. Committed communist poet Bertolt Brecht suggested it might be easier for the government to dismiss the population and vote in a new one.

“That was it. The gloves were off. Ulbricht tightened his control, branded any and all vocal opposition as the criminal actions of those favouring a return to fascism, militarism and atomic war. Citizens’ private lives were opened to public scrutiny and direction. Religion was ‘out’, weddings were to be conducted in Registry Offices only, and young people taking Confirmation could lose their right to education. Under the direction of First Secretary Erich Honecker, all western-facing television aerials were to be destroyed. The single Trade Union was to focus on the new slogan: “World Competition” – in other words, more work!

“Art too was to be State-directed. Walter Ulbricht wanted no more abstracts of “rotten fish and lunar landscapes”, rather heroic portraits of working men, with muscular arms, powerful chests and proud smiles on their faces. Historic buildings were left to fall while new faceless identical blocks were put up in endless rows. Germany’s legacy of historic palaces became kindergartens or old people’s homes.

“... It was decided to soften the population and win hearts. In 1958 rationing of fats, meat and sugar was ended – though with no guarantees of sufficient supplies! Economically there was to be a great leap forward; industrial production was to be expanded, with the illusory aim of overtaking the West by 1961. At the same time however, many previously independent firms were nationalized, and peasants were forced into unpopular Agricultural Cooperatives. So unpopular were they in fact, that peasants unwilling to cooperate were imprisoned. But discontent remained. In 1959 another 143,000 left, and one year later, 199,000. 

“During the 1960s both in East Germany and in the Soviet Union, economic policy fluctuated uncertainly between central control and a limited free market economy. Ulbricht brought new people into his administration with new ideas on market competition and productivity. For a time East Germany became world competitive but only in a very few sectors – and the living standards of East German citizens, having risen slightly and briefly, remained stagnant then began to fall as consumer shortages again became apparent. State deficits grew rapidly, world competitiveness became a far-off dream, and discontent continued to mount.

“Economic and budgetary distortions remained, making it difficult either to direct resources or to control a budget. Social subsidies remained on a variety of goods and services including public transport, rents, food and the arts. And the economy was weighed down by an enormous bureaucracy, as well as the Stasi (Staats Sicherheit = State Security), a massive spying operation itself employing thousands, “assisted” by equal numbers of Inoffiziellen Mitarbeitern or unofficial collaborators, unfortunate citizens who had been blackmailed using some minor indiscretion into informing on neighbours and their movements.

“Everyone came to suspect everyone else; after the Fall of the Wall, West Germans (Wessies) would come over to the East and exclaim how dirty everything was and why couldn’t people paint their houses. One simple reason: no paint. But if you did manage to lay your hands on a pot of paint or a length of timber, your neighbours would cross the street to avoid you, assuming that you had to be spying or a Party member.

“Only after Unification, did the full extent of Stasi activities become known, as some 180 kilometers of files and 35 million other documents came to public view. In addition there were numerous photos, sound documents, and tapes of telephone conversations. The psychological impact on the population was almost worse than their physical shortages.”

“Does this have a familiar ring to it as a possibility?”, Beckler asks in this morning’s email to CFP.

By the time socialist governments throw the net over their citizens, it is almost always already too late to escape.

Under Obama, the net is getting tighter.  The IRS spied on average citizens who make up the nation’s Tea Party groups, among others identified as ‘Enemies of the State’.  The same IRS hired by Obama to administer ObamaCare.

Yesterday when Tea Party groups protested in cross-country demonstrations, armed Dept. of Homeland Security agents were out in full force.

Barack Obama’s ‘Iron Curtain’ is descending on America.

If a person waits in a car, a get away car, while someone is robbing a bank are they guilty? Yes by law they are and are convicted along with the one who, in actuality committed the crime.. Dr Gosnel murdered millions of babies in cold blood. Obama signed off his approval of late birth abortions....Is he guilty?  I say yes. What about you?

 Obama is a person of many words. He loves to stand on the podium and listen to himself talk. When asked about the Gosnel trial he had little or nothing to say,he could not comment while the trial was on. Well the trial is over, the sentence was life in prison and Obama can speak out now. But, he will not. He is committed to this cause. He is committed to the abortion clinics. As he once said he would hate to see his daughters burdened with a human life .If my child was on crack and I did nothing to stop them rather I called the drug supplier when they needed more of the drug, would I be responsible for their addiction?  Yes I would.  Obama is responsible for the deaths of the late term abortion babies. With the first stroke of his ink he signed a child's life into the hands of murderers. There are more of these clinics and if our commander and chief does nothing about this he continues to be guilty.      Mari Ana.

What if we did not have anything like age? What if from the very beginning of time age was not a number....no one kept track.No one celebrated when we were born. One year ran into another year and so on and so forth. You met someone and if you fell in love there was no age barrier to stop you. Age is over thought, over emphasized. We are a youth driven society here in America. Go to Europe and you get an entirely different flavor. Enjoy life it happens only once. In eternity there is no time, One second could be a million years

This is a comment I posted today for a discussion about age. Men dating older women, older women dating younger men. So many opinions on the subject and does it really matter as long as two people are in love?

I know there are certain boundaries. This would apply to people of adult age. So much emphasis is put on youth here in the States. Wrinkles are discussed in about every third page of any magazine, Botox is used as frequent as taking a vitamin pill in the morning. Youth is by all means something we yearn to cling too.

Do you think men who are of certain age go for women who are half their age a way of keeping their youth? Women who go under the knife, lifting their boobs, taking the pain of needles in their lips to get that pouty,sexy mouth which has youth written all over it. Is all of this driven for self...is it for our own self-esteem...is it a chance to re-visit our youth...a second chance. How long can we divert?  

Age is not pretty as some would agree Age is a reminder of the end. However, if a man and woman find each other and create a love bound with each other age is not important. The very soul of man is where the beauty starts and finishes. We need to break down the rules ...really look at each other and then ourselves.        Mari Ana

Water Always Seeks Its Own Level

My beloved, late grandmother always told me, “A person is known by the company they keep.” My mother used to say, “Water always seeks its own level.” With those truisms in mind, (in the interest of space) let’s look at just a couple of the people Obama surrounded himself with to be advisors.

There is Valerie Jarrett who was ushered out of Chicago out of concern that she would be forced to testify under oath (not that lying under oath was ever problematic for her ilk) pursuant to her involvement in the Illinois Governor Rod Blagojevich scandal. She is an Iranian-born communist and communist sympathizer who is married to the son of a journalist who wrote for the Chicago Defender which is heavily communist influenced. He kept avowed communist Van Jones around as long as possible. He has Eric Holder an avowed communist sympathizer and open hate-monger based on color of skin. There is, Cass Sunstein another openly avowed supporter of Neo-Leninism. There is the Alinskyite radical Mark Lloyd. There is evidence that supports Ron Bloom being a Socialist. Kevin Jennings (Obama’s pick to be the Safe and Drug-Free Schools Czar) is a member of the North American Man/Boy Love Association (NAMBLA) and an admitted homosexual pedophile. Donald Berwick is the radical Communist who was put in charge of medical care. There is, of course, Anita Dunn who, if my memory serves me right, it was her firm that was paid millions of dollars to prevent Obama’s records from ever being seen.

And there is, of course, Planned Parenthood; there is his apparent unwavering support for Muslim terrorists; and there is his long and storied relationships with Frank Marshal Davis, Bill Ayers, and Jeremiah Wright.

A picture of a person who is decidedly anti-American emerges that should give every person who believes in American traditionalism cause for concern. Everyone of those I reference above and the great majority of the other czars and advisors that I did not are committed to the transmogrification of America into a Neo-Leninist State. And I submit if Obama were not committed to the same thing he would not have surrounded himself with them.

Obama is the man who claims to have faith and who claims to be a Christian. Obama the man who, by his own admission, was mentored by Jeremiah Wright (right up to the time that Obama found it necessary to throw him under the bus in order to save himself) has gone beyond leaving any question of his real opinions of Christians.

It is important for me to remind you that Obama is “the man.” He is “the guy.” Even if he isn’t aware of something at the outset he is aware of it seconds after people like myself start snooping around and writing opinions about it so as to spur others to start talking about it.

Writing for Breitbart.com, Ken Klukowski said that Obama’s Pentagon has picked Mikey Weinstein, one of the most virulent anti-Christian extremists in America, to be responsible for the Pentagon’s religious tolerance policy. (Pentagon Taps Anti-Christian Extremist for Religious Tolerance Policy; 4/28/13) His responsibilities will include but certainly not be limited to establishing “policy for court-martialing military chaplains who share the Christian Gospel during spiritual counseling of American troops.”

Weinstein’s being the founder of the Military Religious Freedom Foundation (MRFF) sounds innocuous enough. But Weinstein’s intentions are to make it all but impossible to openly conduct Christian worship for any chaplain who is a true Christian.

Weinstein wrote, “Today, we face incredibly well-funded gangs of fundamentalist Christian monsters who terrorize their fellow Americans by forcing their own weaponized and twisted version of Christianity upon their helpless subordinates in our nation’s armed forces.” (Fundamentalist Christian Monsters: Papa’s Got A Brand New Bag; Huffingtonpost.com; 4/16/13)

Klukowski also writes:
Weinstein decries what he calls the “virulent religious oppression” perpetrated by conservative Christians, whom he refers to as “monstrosities” and “pitiable unconstitutional carpetbaggers,” comparing them to “bigots” in the Deep South during the civil rights era.

cites Dr. James Dobson—the famous Christian founder of Focus on the Family—as “illustrating the extremist, militant nature of these virulently homophobic organizations’ rhetorically-charged propaganda.” Regarding those who teach orthodox Christian beliefs from the Bible, Weinstein concludes, “Let’s call these ignoble actions what they are: the senseless and cowardly squallings of human monsters.”

This is the man who Obama has allowed the anti-Christian, pro-homosexual Pentagon staff he has put in place to set Christian worship policy for the military. It is important for all to understand that the only reason Weinstein was allowed to be picked for the position he will occupy is that Obama is allowing it.

If I’m the head of an organization, not least of which the federal government, there isn’t a snowball’s chance in the desert of my permitting anything remotely like Weinstein to even park his car in the parking lot, much less giving him a pivotal position.

But Obama allows it because he agrees with it. Like water he has found his own level. Obama has suckered blacks into blindly supporting him even as he praises the very organization charged with and in existence to kill them off. And, while he claims to be a Christian, he has allowed the appointment of a man who hates Christians and who curses God. I’d call that water seeking and finding its own level.
