Hi, Myriam.... the meteorite... actually, it DID land, but they suspect it landed in the ocean just off the coast of Massachusetts. It probably was no more than 3 feet in diameter. It created a fireball, and when it fragmented, about 40 miles above the earth, the energy created was equivalent to that of 300 tons of TNT and created a sonic boom heard over a wide area! Fascinating! :)
That's so funny. You need to go get a fan. lol Maybe it will be a little cooler this week. We finally got over all the rain and now it is very hot here. It is Summer here.
