Fridays are always so exciting!  Even when you are retired, you know the weekend is almost here.

But we must always take time to be thankful for the small things in life.  

Everyone knows December means Christmas is almost here and it's time to celebrate the birth of Jesus our Savior.  

Kids will be watching the sky for Santa in his sled full of toys because the children are all trying to be good this month.  

December is a month to enjoy every day to celebrate each day with the friends who mean the most to you.  Blessings & Hugs & Kisses too!

 I saw my primary care doctor this morning, he gave me a steroid shot and a prescription to help me fight off this cold...he did tell me that my lungs didn't sound congestive, so that was good. All in all, it was a productive visit for me. And maybe I'll be over the cold before my knee surgery is scheduled. As of 2:00 this afternoon, still hadn't heard from the surgery coordniator, maybe they are waiting for Medicare to approve or disapprove my knee surgery....

Happy Thursday! 

We are nearing the weekend but we have so much to be Thankful for today.  

Thanksgiving has come and gone and yet each day we add to the list.  Take some quiet time to be grateful.  

You know that there will be more pies eaten in the month of December!  Pace yourself.  

Have a wonderful time spent with friends exchanging gifts and just visiting.  Thanks for being my friend.  

Some of my long-time friends know way too much about my past.  I am thankful for the changes Jesus has made in my life.
