Posted On 08/12/2026 02:56:54

I have been a way from here for sometime. Things have not been easy for me lately.Β

My husband has been extremely ill and I recently broke my ankle. I ha e surgery on the 26th of this month.

I normally don't memtion things like this here, because this is my happy place and wish it to be that way. But I thought it important for you all to know why I have not been here for so long.

I've missed you all and hope you are doing well!

I have add a new picture to my Photo Album here. His name is Jack and he's a pocket monster.

But this one isn't getting sold. He's gonna stay with me for my grandkids to play with when they come to visit.

Lent and Palm Sunday

Sharing the Good News.
Ok, take 2. When I started out writing this it quickly turned into some dark ugly thing. Who wants to read that? LOL Not me and I'm sure not you either. Γ°ΕΈβ„’β€š
Lent is very hard for some of us. Those of us up to our eyeballs in life and stress... the last thing we need is to self inflict suffering in the form of fasting and self examinations, alms giving into our already triggered, over worked, underpaid and over stressed lives.
We know suffering, we live it everyday. The idea of Lent is often misunderstood. And often seen as depressing. And why would you do that to yourself? Why would God want that?
Let me try and turn this thing around for us... the ones with reality slapping us in the face.
Because deep down in the heart of Lent, is the most important part of the life of our Lord...
He knows what we go through. He's been there. The pain, the humiliation, the betrayal. So, No one on earth will love through your crap more than He ever will... because He gets it!
God is a great equalizer. He levels the playing field like nobody else and he doesn't leave himself out of it either. He walked this earth like we do. He suffered like we do and he died like we will... and then some.
But let me give you a little sneak preview of next week. He rose from the dead and because of Him, we don't have to suffer forever either.
He pulls no punches. He doesn't sugar coat it, He tells it like it is, "In this world you will have tribulation (troubles)" John 16:33
But here's the Good News "But be of good cheer; I have overcome the world."
For those out there that are in a good place, Lent is a reminder to not take this fact for granted.
But for us who deal with the harsh realities of life every day. This is our hope. Our anchor in the storms of life. The Good News of the Gospel. He has overcome the world and if we stick with Him, we will too. And that is something to cheer about!
God bless and have a good night!

Bible Verses of Encouragement
Posted On 03/05/2024 07:36:56

My life seems to have been tossed in the blender at the moment. But, not one to sit around and become overwhelmed I dicided to get pro-active. I have pulled out my list of Bible verses that I read and reread to lean on my faith with.Β

These verses have been with me for years and have helped me get though a life time of Crap lol.

John 16:33, Isaiah 12:3, Matthew 11:28-30, 1st John 15:9

If you are going through it or just need something to brighten your day, look one of these gems up. They will make you smile. The last one most of all!
