Now, I remember the old folks saying"man proposes and God disposes" becauses this is not the way I had in mind for my day to end. I went down town, nothing special about that so far, accomplished what I went out to do, came back and was okay, there was a heavy stench in the corridor of my building(I live in a condominium building on the third floor) something like "rotten eggs" well some people cook somem really bad smelling stuff but who cares? I don't have to eat it not to mention it probably eats well who knows/ any way, I went on about my business into my suite saw my grand son sitting on the couch and he's telling me his eyes are weepy. It took about ten minutes before I began coughing and found that I could not breathe then I screamed and the last thing I heard was my grand son asking me "gramma are you okay?" before I hit my head and was unconscious. I just hit the ground and the next thing I saw was my daughter and grand daughter's face looking at me and my daughter was talking to the 911 operater on the phone. Turned out that there was a gas leak some where on my raiser which I happen to get a large dose of and the only one who ended up in hospital for a short while. this could have gone either way but like I said that the good Lord has some more work for me to do here so for some reason he lets me stay so I am very grateful he did. However, I think this is not the last I'm hearing of this. Not only was I taken to the hospital, the whole building had to be evactuated, though the third floor and my unit was mostly affected. My dog Bronx we thought he was dead as he had a seziure and stretched out literally. So you see dear brothers and sisters, our day can begin as normal and calm as can be and end up quite chaotic.I'm at home now but didn't expect all this drama for sure.

I pray also that the eyes of your heart may be enlightened in order that you may know the hope to which he has called you, the riches of his glorious inheritance in the saints. Thoughts on Today's Verse...Heaven is something we see with our heart. When we are discouraged, doubtful, and depressed, we need to have the eyes of our hearts "enlightened." The dawn needs to rise in our darkness and we see the dawn of hope and the riches of our inheritance. But when things look bad, sometimes the only way to remember these things is to sing them, pray them, and read God's promises of them. My Prayer... O God, you are my Hope. I trust in you and your promises. But I admit that at times, like even right now, I sometimes struggle with my confidence that you will act in response to my prayers and do what I've trusted you with my life to do. Please fill me with your Spirit and comfort my doubts and kindle my passion that I may serve you with boldness and share with others your grace. Through my Lord Jesus I pray. Amen.
All Saints Day, also known as All Hallows' Day, or Hallowmas, is a Christian celebration in honor of all the saints from Christian history. In Western Christianity, it is observed on November 1st by the Roman Catholic Church, the Methodist Church, the Lutheran Church, and other Protestant denominations. The Eastern Orthodox Church and associated Eastern Catholic churches observe All Saints Day on the first Sunday following Pentecost. The Christian festival of All Saints Day comes from a conviction that there is a spiritual connection between those in Heaven and on Earth. In Catholic tradition, the holiday honors all those who have passed on to the Kingdom of Heaven. It is a national holiday in numerous historically Catholic countries. In Methodist tradition, All Saints Day relates to giving God earnest gratitude for the lives and deaths of his saints, remembering those who were well-known and not. Additionally, individuals throughout Christian history are celebrated, such as Peter the Apostle and Charles Wesley, as well as people who have personally guided one to faith in Jesus, such as one's relative or friend. In addition to weekly worship gatherings, "All Saints Day" annually reminds us of our connectedness as Christians. It's commemorated every November 1st. Perhaps, you were taught to think of saints as statues in a church building. But the Bible teaches something completely different. Who is a saint? You are. That is if you’re a follower of Jesus. God calls a "saint" anyone who trusts in Christ alone for salvation. See Acts 9:13, 26:10, Romans 8:27, and 1Corinthians 1:2. In the 10th century, Abbot Odela of the Cluny monastery added the next day--November 2nd--as "All Souls" Day" to honor not just the martyrs, but all Christians who had died. People prayed for the dead, but many unchristian superstitions continued. People in Christian lands offered food to the dead--as it had been in pagan times. The superstitious also believed that on these two days, souls in purgatory would take the form of witches, toads, or demons and haunt persons who had wronged them during their lifetime. As happens so often in Church history, sacred Christian festivals can absorb so many pagan customs that they lose their significance as Christian holidays. But think of it positively. Who are your favorite heroes in Christian History? Can you think of any whose example has inspired you? Why not use All Saints Day to think of and give thanks for as many Christians from the past as you can remember, whether they are famous or not, especially if their lives and teaching contributed something to yours. Not doing much this week end, trying to stay as warm as possible as it's pretty chilly out. The weather report said that winter will be a gradual transition from fall into winter so we could expect to be fooled by lovely days and suddenly, the brrr! cold hits but thank God it does not last but a few months. I remember when the cold spell used to last a good nine months waaay! into April. Took up part of Spring I tell ya. I for one need to have the weather mild and to keep warm as this bronchitis lasts for at least a month on me and it's almost through a month now still on antibiotics, cough medicine etc. which I really hate but what can I do? I don't even feel to eat I opt out for drinking something instead (not booze though) may be soup I hear chicken soup is called "Jewish Penicillin" anybody care to clarify?
If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I heare from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and heal their land.2 Chronicles 7:14 Oct 27 2018

So I come home this morning from a busy night, tired to say the least and sleepy at that as is expected after a 12 hr night duty and Mr Bronx ( I call him that as he thinks he's people) is so excited to see me there's no food for him in his food bowl and no water (no wonder) my grandson is gone, so sleepy as I was I took him outside to do his thing and came back in set him up which he was grateful for then got myself preopared for bed. Now he sleeps right next to my bed on a mat so when I woke up, there he was, guarding me, that'ts what he is my guard dog boy, sometimes I think that if he could speak he would volumes. Another thing, he would do back flips for baby carrots and broccoli, better than I cause I am not passionate about broccoli at all ( I hear it's good for you is it?) LoL there's the charmer I tried to get a photo of him to paint and he won't give me the time of the day.....mind you, Bronx is 13 years old and slow but if he sees a bigger dog than him he barks and attacks as if he could beat him up good thing I always have him on a leash, he loves small dogs and the little Yorkies though. Big dogs he has a problem with. they say he's a Border Collie but quite small if you tell me. There he is in his favourite spot and one outside where I tried to get a shot of him but he's camera shy.

Well, I went to a barbeque today, and there was dancing and the food was good! this old gal didn't know she still has it in her LoL in fact there were a few old ones there who still had it in them. My kid who is a zumba teacher, and my grand kids who choreograph and teach dance (don't know where they get the energy from but they're young anyway) I was told that they got it from me but I don't think so today I'm quite demure, though I remember coming home in my hayday at 5am from a party to go to work for 6am no sleep in between. I won't be doing that now for sure and the kids today can't do that.
I got to talk to my Austrailian friend who I worked with in Saudi Arabia on messenger and we were catching up on some old times and the people we worked with.I found that she remembered a lot more than I do and that's not a senior moment because we're about the same age LoL... that's just me.....
