Hello and welcome to this special post. I am over the moon: my husband came home in the late afternoon on Monday!
I was so excited: I wanted to come over and write it up however.... as there had been so many false starts, I was afraid of 'jinxing' it!
So I stayed quiet, and waited... I could not be happier or more delighted to be together with him once more!
We had such an instant ''back in the usual'' mode transfer by evening it was almost like he'd not been away!
Yet he had!
The heart attack happened last July (in 2021) and for one brief time, he came home in October.. however that was short-lived, and he was back in hospital - pronto.
That was it then, for a further 3 months! It was hell....
I am lighter than air today; happy and already beginning to feel more stable, and content. Phew. I'm sure glad that period is over and done with!
