I lost my last Sister, Cookie, this morning at 9:28 a.m. ...She fought a long strong battle, but once again "Cancer" took a Sister of mine. My only siblings left are my 2 Brothers, 1 two years older and 1 seven years younger, out of 10 kids.
The last time I got to see Cookie was just 2 or 3 short weeks before Covid struck our World!! But it was such a wonderful visit...she was already ill at that time and before Covid was over where we could visit some more, she moved back to Mississippi to be close to her only daughter daughter...
OMG, the fun & trouble we used to get into when we were so much younger...going to the bars in St Robert to dance and then 28 Truck Port for coffee & breakfast!! The "fake" arguments on the CB as we were heading home...both of us in my car...but only a few of our truck driving friends knew that...lol...we would all laugh about it the next time we met/saw the drivers at the 28!! She was known on the CB as "Juicyfruit" because she loved that gum, and I was Triple M..."Missouri Mischief Maker"...and you can probably already guess why I got that "handle"...lol...Back then NOTHING could defeat us!! And NO one wanted to try to fight us when we went to the bars! Oh Lord...the laughs and memories we shared during our last visit...back in those younger days she could have been a model!! Long & lean and a dancing Queen!! She was always a Beauty!
