It is almost Independence Day, the 4th of July, which commemorates the ratification of the Declaration of Independence by the Second Continental Congress on July 4, 1776, establishing the United States of America.  

It is a time to celebrate and have a good time but also a time to survive the 4th of July weekend that starts today!  

Whether you are on the water or in the air, be alert and be careful please.  

Everyone should be very proud of their country!

Hello Annette! I somehow, got something in my eye, 9 or 10 days ago. It was red&scratchy&matted shut during the night! Saw my eye doctor today. It isen't in my eye now, but scratched it! So will use the eye drops he gave me. He was upset, I waited! Coolier here tonight. Have a restful evening! Hugs Shirley
