I like Independent Films. Movies that are a wee bit off the beaten path. Movies that provoke disgust and shock as much as blindly entertain. Movies I've seen and truly been enchanted by include.... Brokeback Mountain, The DaVinci Code, Ghost World, Bully, Apocalypse Now, American History X, American Beauty, Lolita, Boys Don't Cry, The Talented Mr.Ripley, Virgin Suicides.

Some might say I have an ecclectic palate, musically speaking. I can often be found listening to the Grateful Dead, Marshal Tucker, Steve Miller, Stevie Ray Vaughan, June Christy,Dinah Washington, Billie Holiday, Nina Simone, Josh Groban, Mason Jennings, Jack Johnson, Donovan Frankenreiter, Crosby Stills, Nash and Young, Waylon Jennings and Willie Nelson.

I don't have much time for reading at this point, but if anything, you'll catch me with my nose in a cook book catching up on some ideas. James Beard and Julia Child are my earliest inspirations.

Hanging out with my girl and our son. Music, Golf (when money is available for that sort of thing) Cooking, eating. being social with good family people.
