I've been married to my best friend for 26 yrs.

I had two children, a son and a daughter.

My son, RIP, just commited suicide in March 2006. It was very unexpected after 15 yrs of drug and alcohol abuse. It has been very hard even though I know he is now at peace after an extremely long struggle. The battle is over now. We just now have to battle the challenge to go on with out him. My son, Jeromy, did father two beautiful children, a son, Kyle and a daughter, Madison (Madi). We are very fortunate that the mothers are giving us the privilege to still be a part of their lives. They are such a blessing.

My daughter is married and has a girl, Kyrstal and boy Trey Ruben, with one on the way, due the end of Dec. 2006. They live in Alvin very near us so I spend alot of time with them. I see them just about every weekend. We take them to church and they are really good kids. Trey just started Pre-K and is really having a hard time learning when to talk and when not to. Kyrstal is 8 and has become quite "sassy" this past year.

I have always had a dog and have a Shitzu now. I think this is the best one I've ever had. Extremely smart and loyal. Loves babies and will protect them as if they were his own. He's 13 years old now so I know he won't be with us much longer. Won't get another until I can retire and be home with the next one.

Kids have allergies so cats aren't allowed. I do like them though.

I love to cross stitch. I like to make my projects extra special for people. I don't like to cross stitch to just cross stitch. What I'm doing is specifically for someone and it's something I know or hope they'll like. I've tried my hand at needlepoint but don't feel comfortable with it.

I love to read mystery novels and see mystery, who done it, movies.

I love to play table games, cards, watch my grandkids play sports and I love to swim. Wish I could have a pool of my own. Only when I retire so I can have plenty of time to take care of it.
