I retired from programming a few years, from computer programming. Since a degree wasn't required when I was hired, I was curious about college and got a degree in science. I think I would work in environmental science if I were starting a career today. I'm fascinated with the outdoors.
I'm also recovering from sepsis. Although I expect to make a complete recovery, it's a time-consuming process. I can jog on the treadmill slowly, but I can't run. I can walk for miles, which I do with my husband and pit bull, daily.
I would like to learn more about photography and blogging and write about the Hudson Valley, where I live. It's a beautiful area. My town, Poughkeepsie, is home to the Walkway Over the Hudson; a mile long pedestrian bridge over the Hudson River. The area is defined by mountains and small farms. It's a great place to bike.
