Cristy C. Corso hails from Chicagoland and has lived in various urban landscapes across the United States. She is celebrated accomplished, recognizable, and interdisciplinary artist with numerous awards. Her artistic journey began with design studies under her mother, a graphic designer and self-taught architect, early. She continued her education, before teenage years, doing life drawing and painting at The School of the Art Institute of Chicago and later attended other schools including Parsons School of Design in New York City.
Corso's early career included private study for oil paint realism under renowned artists, This included Julie Rotblatt-Amrany & Omri Amarany known for her paintings of athletes to his bronze Michael Jordan sculpture at the United Center, Chicago IL. These artists led to her work being exhibited with them, many renowned artists, & in prestigious galleries before she turned twenty years old. Her heritage, a blend of Cherokee, of the KeetooWah band, and Venetian Italian, influences her vibrant and theatrical artistic expression.
