We have a friend coming over today to go to Rosa's with us for Taco Tuesday lunch.  

I do enjoy the month of October.  The lows are in the upper 60's instead of starting in the low 80's.   

However, in Texas, we still get into the low 90's for most of the month.  

Rarely do our leaves change colors in October and while it is usually a rainy month, we haven't had a drop in about 6 weeks.  

We are still enjoying blue skies and outdoor activities.  

And if you put pumpkins on your porch or in your yard in early October, they will be rotten long before Thanksgiving gets here.  

However, I do enjoy all the orange colors that each of you posts during this month.  After all, it is my favorite color but I am truly a summer girl!

Evening  very raw day  heavy rains and winds

low 50's  still rainy  tomorrow  also.,  I have eye doctors appointment

tomorrow., check my eye from the surgery plus to dilate my eyes., hope to be able to drive home.   hope you had a great  start of a new week,

Hey Cheryl...a new week has begun. Cloudy today and 61. Should see 70's and sunshine remainder of the week. We hope to adopt another dog in a few years. Our sweet Dixie crossed the rainbow bridge last spring. She was almost 16. After hubby retires, we will most likely get another dog then. For now, we feed and take care of 3 feral cats. All have been fixed. Wishing you a wonderful week ahead.

I don't want to bother you today.  I just wanted to say...

I know sometimes when it is a holiday, some of you sleep in!  It is Thanksgiving in Canada and Columbus Day in America.  

So I hope you got an extra day to stay up late or party last night.  After all, I do respect you and ... 

Ok, maybe I do love my grandkids more.  After all, they are so dang cute, I hope you agree!
