Hello Cheryl & good Afternoon, too you also there's no rain here but it's a little bit chilly outside the temps here are the same as yours I don't mind the cool air either yes, it's much better than the heat & humidity that we get in the summer my day is going well my husband & I cleaned the house today and when we were finished I got supper and after we ate we went upstairs and we went on our computers to answer our comments here and when we're finished we'll go into our bedroom and relax watching TV for the rest of the day thank you for letting me know that you won't be here tomorrow I hope that you have a safe trip I'll talk to you on Sunday, when you get back from your trip enjoy the rest of your day and take care. Hi, just a little note from my mom to everyone she's been very sick for a week and a half already with the flu which makes you sick I'm staying with them and my husband with our 4 children and dog in Rooden. Wednesday and here come the before and after pictures. We are so excited not to have blinds and solar screens in and on the windows anymore. The 16 layers of insulation not only keep the outside temperature out and the inside temp in, but the house is so much more quiet.
This is the dining room with the sheer curtains put back up. I love being able to see out into the front yard through them. It is much more elegant than it was with the same sheers.
This is the guest room or Wendy's room, hehehe! It is so bright and cheerful and really no one can see in it. And the master bedroom is like a sun room during the day! I love to walk into it.
The master bathroom has the "rain" window on it and you can't see in or out of it. When the sun shines on it, it sparkles! We love it!
The computer room is my favorite room to look out of during the day or night and also to look at from the front of the house. The way they changed it makes it look so much larger and more appealing.
Of course this is also my favorite place! I love looking out from the kitchen or my chair in the living room. And I love being out in the yard and looking back at the house. Remember, you are invited to join us!
It's going to be 76 here Wed-Friday. Then we will see 60's all the way through next week. I worked outside mid day trimming back foliage and raking leaves. We have so many acorns that have fallen..more than I've even seen living here for 30 years. Speaking of funeral, we attended one yesterday. A dear friend.her mother in law use to be our neighbor. She was only 72. My brother passed away September 5, and said goodbye to another dear friend May 12. Seems like it always comes in threes. Grocery shopping awaits tomorrow. Have a wonderful week..
Good Morning this Tuesday! Our project is over. We have wonderful neighbors that shared their son's side business with us. Viewpoint Exteriors put in new windows for us. The deal was too good to pass up.
These two young men changed out our 18 windows in a day and a half. They were very considerate of our dogs and us. They cleaned before, during and after the installation of each window.
The reason it was a huge project for us is that we had to remove the blinds from each of the windows and that also meant moving furniture away from in front of each window so they had room to work.
Yes, we pushed & pulled most of the furniture in the house around before they got there and we also climbed on ladders and carried heavy (to us they were heavy) blinds out of the house.
Rbt was talking to Branden as he was caulking the windows and noticed that he would smear the caulk off his fingers onto the window. My hubby thought this nice young man had lost his mind. Then he realized the film hadn't been removed yet.
The end results were well worth the days of preparation it took us and the days after to get furniture inside and plants outside put back in place. But our bodies may not agree with that quite yet. More to come tomorrow.
Evening very cold today., basically its the wind thats making it so cold 40 was the high.
went for PT and today it was not fun., 2 people hold you down to one side., tilt your head, then before you know it they snap you up to a sitting position., then the other side., not good. after i went for coffee, had to rest before they let you leave. then went to the stop and shop. hope your having a good start to a new week.
