This first Saturday of 2026, instead of cats, I thought I would share Cardinals.  

This is a male Desert Cardinal.  I have never seen one but I thought he was very unique.  

This proud male is showing off his stuff.  There must be a female nearby watching him.  

Do you realize that Cardinals are at the feeders year round?  Every season they are seen in our yard.  

As they fly through our yard, the males are always so noticeable because of their bright red coloring.  

Do something fun with your kids or grandchildren to teach them all about all sorts of birds this year!  Blessings & Hugs!  Pam

Evening   weather ; the same cold., I know its winter but would like the weather higher then 20's and windy.  I went for coffee met the ladies.,  then went to Ooean state job lot store.,

What?? 2026, already!! May God meet each of your needs, as they arrive this year!! Around 19 degrees here this evening. Ground is covered with snow. We have been home since Sunday after church. Probably go to town tomorrow, if roads seem safe enough. I hope you all had a love filled Christmas! Boyd&I are well, grateful for that also. Be safe and big hugs coming your way! Shirley
