It's a real switch from hot weather to cooler. We still have the a/c on but I did bring out the heavier blanket. October is one of my favorite months! hugs

Can you believe that it is Monday already? Where did the weekend go? It was 61° Saturday morning when I went to sit on the patio and read. I looked up and this is what I saw.
Needless to say, that spider web is NOT there anymore. That is where I stand to water some plants. Can you imagine not knowing it was there and me running into it? ECK!!!
Thursday morning I saw the moon from inside our bedroom so I ran out and took that one.
And here is a picture from Thursday afternoon. It got to about 93° but it was a beautiful afternoon.
Sunrise each morning is my favorite time of day. The birds are usually singing and the sky is usually orange.

Cloudy today..but still 80. Should see cooler temps by mid week. When we leave Saturday, it's showing mid 70's at the beach. I'll take a jacket, socks, sweatshirt, etc..just to be on the safe side. Marie was doing good yesterday. We stayed with her for over 2 hours. Her oldest son and his family had just gotten home last night from the beach. Randy owns the condo we rent every year. So we will be meeting him this week to pick up the keys. Then he and his family leave in 2 weeks for their annual trip to the outer banks. I'm so looking forward to getting my toes in the sand and ocean water. I always feel better when we are near the ocean. The salty air and ocean waves just seem to make me relax. I sleep better too. Wishing you a wonderful week ahead...
Hello Pam, we got a decent rain last night and we certainly needed it. I ran out in it and st out my plants or as many as I could. Got good and wet in the process but still so thankful for it. We usually get so many tropical systems this time of year but haven't this Fall. Have a good new week and enjoy the Harvest Full moon tonight.
