May you enjoy a Peaceful day, My Dear Friend I have off from work today, Looks like the rain has finally stopped here, but to early to see if the will be shinning. I have a few things to catch up on at home, the Laundry, plus, I will be making turkey sausage with peppers and onions and a little sauce in the crock pot for dinner, serve that over a little pasta. I like using the crock pot, put everything in and let it do its thing.
I woke up this morning at 5:30 to it raining. After my husband left to go to work I went back to bed and woke up at 8 with it really rainy. It has stopped for a while, but looks like it could start up again. It's 55 here and damp with a breeze. Kind of chilly. I went and saw my son Trey and his wife Tiffany this morning. Today is Trey's birthday, he is 29. Is it just me or does it feel like your kids are getting older to quick? I hope you have a good rest of your day and take care. Hugs to you.
We had rain this morning at 6 am. There have been scattered showers all around since yesterday and is just about to clear our area. In Bowie, where our daughter Wendy lives, they have had well over 12-15" in the last couple of weeks. The dock at Amon Carter lake has been closed that long too. Even my friends in Lubbock got almost 3" and it overflowed their Koi Pond. They never get enough to have standing water but they have it now. I forgot to check our rain gauge yesterday but I just checked it and we are right at 3". We have been in the 50's the last few mornings with highs in the 70's. We have had windows open lately but had to close them all last night. Will reopen them tonight or tomorrow! I hope you weather is still moving toward a beautiful spring too!
