Thankful Thursday is here.  Oh my what a beautiful day the Lord has made for us today!  

Let's start this day full steam ahead.  The next thing you know it will be the weekend.  

There are so many things to be thankful for today.  The rains we have had recently have filled all the lakes (except 3) in our area to overflowing and made all the flowers so happy that they are blooming.  

Most of my friends have seen sightings of a hummingbird.  I have seen many of them but I spend time within 4' of two feeders most days sunning or reading or talking on the phone or to Jesus.  

They are so beautiful when the sunlight hits their feathers just right.  However, they are very territorial and when they chase each other away from the feeder, there are times they come within inches of my face.  

No matter what kind of a day you are having, if you count your blessings by giving thanks, it will help you to forgive and forget your problems and add joy to your day.  The choice is yours and God is waiting to hear from you.  

They say a little rain today but it's still looking like a dry weekend. Yay!

The first Wednesday of May has arrived.   The sun is trying to break through the clouds!  

Mom is still drinking coffee so come on let's get our own breakfast.  It is wonderful to have smart friends to help.  

What do you have planned for the day?  Are you going to help a friend today?  

After all it is "JUMP" day!  You know, middle of the week.  Isn't that what it is called?  

Include your pet in whatever good deed you are doing and share it with those you love today.  It will make the day better for everyone.  

Didn't get too much rain. The southern part of the state got hammered.

Yes, we are being blessed with more rain today.  The lakes in the DFW area are almost all full.  

I think this has been the best May that I can remember, of course, I don't remember as much as I used to.  

Everything is green and full of color as far as one can see right now.  Well not today because it is cloudy and raining.  

Today everyone is driving in the rain and the swimming pools are overflowing!  

We will just say, "Thank you Lord for your timing on everything in our life!"

Good evening, Gayle! We just had a downpour. Nearly over now. I did straighten up my pantry and sat my ironing board up. Put it in the room, my desktop is at and a treadmill. Sometimes I need to press clothes! This way it will be handy!! How are your cats doing? Once in awhile one will stray in our yard. We don't have any animals now. Our dog{which was Steve's dog} died couple of years ago. He stayed in the garage. Had a warm igloo doghouse with bed in it. I sure wish my back would quite throbbing! Hug Shirley

Where in the heck did Monday go to?  I thought today was Friday, at least that is the last thing I remember!  

It was one of the most beautiful Spring weekends that I can ever remember!  It was from the mid 50's to the low 70s.  

This morning was nice enough, then the clouds moved in.  Guess what it has been doing for the last several hours.  

It is such a gentle rain that you can hardly see the drops.  We had thunder to start and then nothing but a light sprinkle.  

So as the daylight is already gone and the night gets darker, I don't think we will see stars in the sky or even many clouds.  We are supposed to have Thunderstorms starting about 4 am.  

So I will see you tomorrow with the same smile on my face, but hopefully a little earlier in the day!  Please share that smile with others around you.  Blessings & Hugs!  Pam

60's here too. Some sun today. Just got a few drops now the sun is peeking out. Sometime later there will be lots of drops. It has been so rainy and wet I haven't been able to get my lawn mowed. It is growing fast along with the weeds lol! It is going to be a jungle by the time I can get it cut.

When I despair, I remember that throughout history,
