On this Memorial Day, I want to share a powerful reminder of your beautiful history. As President Eisenhower encouraged Congress back then, these words define the true spirit of your country:
"I pledge allegiance to the flag of the United States of America, and to the republic for which it stands, ONE NATION UNDER GOD, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all."
