Snow fell overnight followed by sleet and freezing rain. They're calling for more freezing rain later today. Roads are in pretty bad shape. Have only seen 1 vehicle go down our street today. A few people walking earlier. Tomorrow, sunny and 50, but nothing much will melt off. Schools will likely be closed for a few days.
Sleet will be starting here shortly. Afterwards, continued freezing rain will continue through tomorrow night. Praying we don't have power loss, but we're prepared. Much of next week will remain cold. Have a safe weekend.

Hi Sharon! it's sleeting outside, and we have a fire going, best part is, my furbabies are snuggled up with me and my hubby! Since I moved the bird feeder to my back porch, I can see all the birds coming and goings, there is a female cardinal on the water bowl I set down next to the feeder...a male has found the peanut butter mixed with sunflower seeds rolled into a ball I have in a bowl on the other side of the feeder! I have the feeder set on a big plank of wood on a sturdy chair...so it's high enough for me to see clearly and give the birds plenty of room to eat comfortably .
