We always had them in South Texas on our 500 acres. I have only seen a couple since we moved (22 years ago) to the DFW area. I am so glad you got such a nice rain! One day soon it will be our turn! I lost about 6-10 plants this past week. Too hot after cooler temps and to little water!
Wendy is about 2 hours north of me and the rain was close to her. My other friends in South Texas are about 7 hours south of us and they got a short shower but praying for much more. We are just hot and dry but our turn will come one day! Glad you are enjoying the rain!
Well if it was real dry there it would take a lot of rain to make it flood, because the ground would absorb a lot. I think you live near or in a desert don't you.
Hi Ken, I was scared it was going to flood but for 2 days it rained on and off softly and the birds loved it.
