good morning Caroline, I took my morning walk, afterwards, decided I need to go at 7 a.m. instead of at 8..it was fine at the beginning, but by the end of my walk, it was just getting too humid, so only got a mile...tryinig to get more than a mile a day in...2, 500 steps is way short of 10,000 "they" recommend. I wonder if I'll ever make that amount, probably not...LOL!

Earlier this week, I took down the hummingbird feeders and scrubbed them. I made fresh food, filled the feeders and replaced them. The same day I saw a hummingbird.
I did NOT, nor have I ever seen a real albino hummingbird. But I do know that they exist.
I have seen so many pictures of them. Have you ever seen an albino anything?
It would just be magnificent to get a picture of one like this.
Or even one as pretty as this! Are your hummingbirds colorful? I do have ruby-throated and black-chinned. Most of them have pretty green feathers. However, all of the females are very plain.
I even tried setting up a place for them to play in the water and if they did, it wasn't when I could see them. So I will be happy that I am blessed to see them drink from the feeders that I put up.
