Hello Bud, here's the girls' hen Myrtle with one of "her" new babies. She sat on one of the other hens eggs but she said it's HERS because she kept it warm.haha. She is an Australorp breed and they think the new chick is a Barred Rock.
Good Morning Di..hope you have a good day...I have a Drs appt..just a normal check up...My dr left so this will be a new one for me..I hate that...its like you have to go over your life history all over again..lol..takes months just to get in so they make an appt each time I go for the next appt ( every 6 months..one for renewal of one RX and then yearly blood work that my husband insist I get or I would not go! ) I hope things are going well for you and your hubby...hugs
we went from the low 40's overnight to max at just over 50 during the day. I can't complain as I spent the day indoors in the warmth:). Rain is predicted from tomorrow through to early next week but somhow I think we may miss out on most of it. Oh my, that rooster reminds me of my young days of growing up on the farm. Such a good life. Have a lovely Thursday Di. Hugs Pat*
Thankful Thursday is here again and I don't have enough fingers and toes to count all the things I am thankful for.
Just look up at the sky! Have you seen a Hawk or a Bald Eagle lately? Last week we had Turkey Buzzards on our neighbors roof sunning themselves.
We are thankful for all of God's creatures, especially our three dogs who greet us each time we walk in the door.
However, I don't want to see a Rhino charging toward me. I like seeing them in the zoo though.
Now Zebras on the other hand are often seen alongside Giraffes. You know how I feel about Giraffes. The other reason I like Zebras is because it is one of my Hubby's favorite animals.
So I hope you will look around you today and smile at some of God's creations. What is your favorite? Blessings & Hugs!
