Hi Rick! I took my morning walk, afterwards, decided I need to go at 7 a.m. instead of at 8..it was fine at the beginning, but by the end of my walk, it was just getting too humid, so only got a mile...tryinig to get more than a mile a day in...2, 500 steps is way short of 10,000 "they" recommend. I wonder if I'll ever make that amount, probably not...LOL!

Hope you are having great week, Rick I am getting ready for my eldest grandson Jacobs high school graduation, which is on Friday, it’s so hard to believe how time as flown by so very fast and he is graduating… I’m so very proud of him, I can’t wait to watch him walk across the stage and receive his diploma. Have a Wonderful day!
Heat index 100 today. Think we will see a gradual drop in temps starting Thursday. June is certainly going out with a bang. I was outside watering flowers @ 7 am. No rain in sight. Enjoy your week ahead... -:)
Hi Ric.Oh that’s the best idea staying indoors during the heatwave. So good to know you got the shopping out of the way. You won’t need to venture out again until the heat has passed. Here this afternoon our temp is in the mid to low 40’s, very windy and light rain showers. Quite a contrast to what your experiencing.
Those little squirrels will be so happy with the peanuts. I daresay they would appreciate a bowl of drinking water too.
Stay cool Ric and have a relaxing week. God Bless. Pat*
We hit 94 today. When the fedex delivery person came today, I gave them cold bottled water from fridge. It was a younger peep, but they thanked me for doing that. His truck is open, so no cool air..on the other hand, Amazon came a short time later and their trucks are with ac. Summer is going to be brutal I'm afraid. I remember last year July was awful. Sure didn't take long today for the laundry to dry. So glad it's done for now. Stay cool and enjoy the last week of June.
Yes, we have central air. And ceiling fans too. Our house is small, just shy of 720 sq feet. We had a new roof put on last summer..replaced 3 windows over the years...and added insulation many years ago. I'll be staying inside as much as possible during the summer months.
