morning Rick! well, the area the flooding happened is known as the Hill country, because of all the hills, then you add tropical storm rain that dump, over 14" of rainifall and all that water washing down hills to the river....the river rose 26 feet in 45 min...around 4:30 a.m. The total amount the river rose to was 32 ft 3 inches by 10 a.m.

Have a nice Monday we getting a little break from the heat till Tuesday
Same here with the fireworks..downtown held its annual bash, as did surrounding neighbors. They were still sounding them off close to midnight. To me, it's just a waste of money. We've cooled off a bit due to the tropical storm that went over the folks along the coast. It shifted NE of us, thus cloudy conditions today. We'll return to high 90's tomorrow. One day closer to Fall -:)
we got rain this morning, the same system that brought the catastrophic flooding in Kerr County and the part of Texas known as the Hill country. So many people, adults as well as children have lost their lives during the severe rains and flooding, even away from the camps, there were homes swept off they foundations, cars with people in them trying to evacuate...it's a sad time here for us Texans. If you are a praying person, please lift one up, (or a few) if not, just send out positive thoughts...thank you
Good afternoon Dear Boomerfriends❤️ hope you all❤️ had a good time.❤️ Lots of love and warm greetings Kisses from the Netherlands from us here❤️ Soraya❤️
Howdy Rick.. I want one of those drinks.. I see you have three - one for me, one for Summer and one for you.. I'll take the thick yellow one with the two black straws.. Gotta make sure there's Rum mixed in for the final kick.. Looks so good.. Are you going to watch the fireworks from you porch? I can hear them start here even though it's not even dark yet.. Coming from crazy kids down in the woods.. Campers.. Some of them are so darn loud, sound like cannons going off.. xx Darlene
