Butterflies dance in the air,
serenade me
with a magical flair..
Finally letting my heart breathe,
sunshine and butterflies on flowing leaves...
Nothing can disturb this magical
dream.,
But a crack in the window,
and again..

my reality screams.

Surrendering

bit by bit

finding out

along the way,

that it is not my way

to quit..

knowing that I've gone astray.

Entering the twilight

of what

was once a fleeting

searing,

selfish thought.

Faded walls and ragged seams

coaxed through life

by empty dreams

Wanting just a piece of lace

scratched by wool

and out of place

Emotions always kept in check

one sincere embrace

What did I expect?

Scars unseen, hidden tears

hold me close

All my walls are built up high

before I die

Angels sing from way up high

                             Shattered Glass

Aimlessly I travel, through this foggy haze,

my mind is numb and fragile

in a lonely dangerous place..

Can anybody see me, through the broken glass

are there any real reasons

why dreams are fading fast..

Time is cruel, and fate has a sense of humor,

I've heard that home is near

is it just a twisted rumor..

As the glass shatters and the dream is gone,

I travel through this maze

humming a haunted song...

In a lush meadow

deep and strong,

white doves fly

sing an innocent song..

Full of grace and glory,

I feel like a rose,

beautiful in many ways,

but I have many thorns,

the rough parts of my days.

I feel a like a rose,

meaningful and deep,

but that fades away,

though I'm trying hard to keep.

please handle me with care,

I could break in a second,

if my loved one's weren't there.

I feel like a rose,

my beauty will soon fade,

and while hurt by my thorns,

I'll replenish in the shade.

He's with the Angels now

no more pain will he ever feel

his wings are new

to use them special Angels show him how

he is a most welcome addition to the pearly gates

if only I was back home  to hold him tight

to tell him I love him and always will

don't worry my precious brother

it's alright

someday I'll join you

and together we shall soar

so listen someday

for my special knock on Heaven's door
