                             I HOPE I TAUGHT YOU

I always knew I'd be a mom
since I was just a girl.
And when God blessed me with you two
you each became my world.
He said now take these precious gifts
and show them greatest love.
Because he gave them here to me
from Heaven up above.
He said to teach them what is right
by what you do and say.
And please remember as a mom
to teach them how to pray.
The years go by so fast you know
no matter what we do.
And wherever that your paths may lead
my heart will go with you.
I only hope I served you well
and showed you greatest love.
I hope I taught you how to pray
and thank your God above.

Make a soft little bed for a kitten

I walk the night through the foggy mist,
Blackest of hearts, black cunning lips.
Hunting for the blood of innocent prey,
To satisfy my hunger before the oncoming day.
Stranger, take comfort in my black velvet cloak,
Briefly, before these red talons choke,
Your struggles human, are in vain,
Your throat is mine, such exquisite pain.
Over my mouth flows your dark gurgling blood,
I laugh and I lick, it tastes so good,
Trickling down to my chin to my cold white breasts,
Your soul is mine, no time to rest.
Pitiful creature, you are now my slave,
Kneel before your Queen depraved,
Bow down or the whip you'll feel,
Lick my boots and kiss my heels.

                                 HIS WEB

I stumbled on a web today,
In a place forbidden to me,
And though I knew I shouldn't be there,
I stayed to watch and see.
The Creature who calls this place home,
Went on about his day,
Never stopping to look at me,
Just weaving his web in a mysterious way.
The time went by so very fast,
Before I recognized my fate,
For when finally I turned to leave,
I found we were face to face.
The web he wove was all around,
And bound me to my seat,
The Deep Green Pools within his eyes,
Willing me to admit defeat.
I tried and tried to struggle free,
His web just wouldn't let go,
Terror coursed right through my veins,
As he gazed so easily into my soul.
Somehow he knew me deep inside,
Although we had never met,
Through time and space and things unknown,
Our lives had crossed and meshed.
