I Needed To Rant…Wake Up, People…

 

Many of us seem to be shaking our heads in confusion, as we try to understand whom these people are in Washington, and what is it that they want?

 

Who are they to believe for a moment that they can reconstruct and cloud the very foundation of our nation, and remold it to meet their standards, and to think we will have no objections to the total disrespect to both the people and the nation?

 

Who are they to believe that they can determine that what our children learn in school should have any agenda that strays from the simple truth of what happened and is happening with our nation?

 

Who are they to believe that they even have the right to consider the validity of common citizens to have the right to bear arms?

 

Who are they to determine that our right to privacy can be forfeited in the name of security and protection?

 

Who are they to question our loyalty and patriotism to the nation for simply not agreeing with their agendas?

 

Who are they to determine, as a government entity, as to whether or not a child has the right to come into this world?

 

Who are they to determine that it is perfectly acceptable to monitor our phone calls, our buying habits, or our Internet activity, as if we, the people are a threat in the makeup of all that is bad happening in the nation?

 

Who are they to reach the conclusion that bills can be passed that will detain common citizens indefinitely, just in case they determine them to stand in the way of a government agenda?

 

Who are they to determine by their own judgment who is actually worthy of being represented

 

Who are they, to make back room deals with banks, corporations, and wealthy individuals that will give power and influence to those other than as stated by the United States Constitution? 

 

Who are they to write laws and to pass bills that cater to one area of society in a manner in which obviously gaining control of that part of society is the true goal?

 

Who are they to determine whether or not we will be allowed to grow food on our own land?

 

Who are they to introduce a vaccine to combat the flu, that they have somehow thought it to be acceptable to contain the poisons mercury and formaldehyde?

 

Who are they to determine that the president has the right to declare a national emergency, in which curfews will be applied for any reason, including weather conditions?

 

Who are they to set up concentration camps all over the nation in case we get out of control with our resistance to their attempts to control all aspects of our lives?

 

Who are they to use our military and the very concept of war as a means of making money, as if they were simply running a business?

 

Who are they to allow airport security to fondle an eight-year-old girl in the name of national security?

 

Who are these people who are willing to spend $50,000,000 dollars of their personal money to land a job that pays $140,000 per year?  What is it they are actually buying?

 

Who is this president that has paid $millions to legal representation to hide so much of his personal information from the American people?

 

Who are these people who will allow 20 million illegal immigrants to cross our borders and go untouched by the legal regulations because it may have an impact with the Hispanic vote in the coming elections?

 

Who are these people who cannot balance a national budget?

 

Who are these people who will continue to spend, without hesitation, as if our economy is not recessed to the point of total collapse with just a few wrong moves?

 

Who are these people who will place the blame on the financial institutions of America for the economic recession, and then bail them out so they can continue with the same misguided and questionable behavior?

 

Who are these people who have allowed outside entities such as George Soros, the Rothchilds, the Koch brothers, the Bushes, Al Gore, (and the list goes on and on) to literally buy their way into the very operation of our federal government?

 

Who are these people who think they have the right to tell an insurance company whom they are to accept as a client?

 

Who are these people who think they have the right to tell a company how much they must pay their employees. 

 

Who are these people who tell the American people they must buy a product (health care insurance) or face fines and even prison if they do not purchase and maintain the product?

 

Who are these people who are so blind to not understand that we could get the price of oil to plummet if they were not in bed with the oil companies?  Between the oil finds in Alaska, the recent finds in North and South Dakota, and the gulf coast, we have more access to oil than does Saudi Arabia.

 

I could continue with these questions forever, but I think you may get my point by now.  Wake up people.  The government is not looking out for the best interest of the people or the nation.  They have a clear agenda, and it applies to what is best for them.  Everything they do is somehow related to gaining control of the people, not representing them, as is clearly their one and only goal.  They have forgotten that they are merely there to represent our voices, not to control our voices or to regulate us into a direction that benefits them, as a separate entity from the overall makeup of this nation.  We, the people, collectively should be absolutely furious, regardless of which side of the political coin you may reside…

How Could This Even Be A Possibility?

 

I heard the door of the van slide open, and I could see a faint hint of light filtering through my blindfold.  I felt someone’s hand, as it grabbed my arm and pulled me roughly from my seat, and almost in a single motion I went from being seated to standing on the ground, outside.  My wrists and my ankles hurt from the chains that had been placed upon them prior to the journey. 

 

I had an eerie feeling, as I just stood there, unable to see what was before me, and not knowing who is was that held onto my arm, and began leading me in a forward motion.  I must have walked about twenty feet and suddenly I felt a hand planted firmly on my chest to signal me to stop.  I heard the man standing beside me speak in a loud voice to someone with three simple words.  “Open it up.”  At that time I heard the squeaking of what sounded like an electric fence opening in front of me, much like the sound of the electric gate at my home. 

 

I felt a hand fumbling at the back of my head, and suddenly, the blindfold fell from my eyes.  The brightness of the sun was almost blinding, and it took a moment for my eyes to focus.  I remember at the time my focus returned to me, I almost wish the blindfold had remained on my eyes.  The sight before me was something that I never thought could become a reality.  And now, all the of the honor, decency, and civility that seemed to remain, was only that which remained within my heart and soul, for it certainly was not in front of me. 

 

What was before me seemed to go on forever, and I literally had a problem in adequately focusing on what seemed to be something somewhere between a bad dream and reality.  A fence, ten feet tall, topped off with razor wire surrounded what seemed to be maybe fifty acres.  Tents were set up as far as I could see, hundreds and hundreds of them.  No one was anywhere to be seen, with the exception of those who stood guard in dark brown uniforms, each with a rifle strapped to their shoulders.  No one spoke, with the exception of the man who had led me into the facility, and his only words were to tell the man that he passed me to that he had brought him a new one.  He had gone as soon as he released me just inside the gate. 

 

I was lead, still chained and cuffed to the right side of the facility and taken almost to the very end of the area.  I was taken into a tent and I saw others there who were just face down on their cots.  I was taken to the middle of the tent area, and in one motion, I was slammed down upon the cot.  The man leaned down and removed the chains from my ankles, then removed the cuffs from my wrists.  He began walking away, and then he turned around and just smiled.

The Illusion Of Representation.Looking For What Is Not There...

 

In the past few weeks, I have been mentally monitoring the thoughts, ideas, and behavior of many as they both support and oppose those candidates who are on a quest to be the next occupant of the Oval Office.  What I have seen is both inspiring and disappointing, and even though our overall goals are the same in the end, you would never know it by the very words and thoughts that are mounting more quickly than our national debt is growing.  There seems to be this delusion with most as to what we are actually looking for with those we choose to represent us, as a people, and as a nation.

 

We are looking at who will lead us, as a people in a positive direction.  We are looking at who will take the appropriate steps to move us from this ongoing recessed economy.  We are looking at who will use our military for the intended purpose of protecting us, as a people, and to secure our borders, not use that source to move into areas that do not concern us with no true goals or end results.  We are looking at who will not only have a clear understanding of the United States Constitution, but will have the understanding that this is the ultimate guide in the growth, maintenance, and resilience of our nation.  We are looking at who will reduce spending, and use common sense and sound judgment with that spending that will serve the good of the people, as opposed to making various components of our society feel better.  We are looking at who will have a clear understanding of who is our ally and who is our enemy, and to base this judgment on how it relates to the good of the people in this nation, not simply as a gesture to present an illusion that we are reaching out to others with unnecessary funding and policies that equate to that illusion, not the good of the people.  We are looking at who will create an environment in this nation that will allow individual growth and prosperity, and to promote individual responsibility, as opposed to teaching them how to deal with what they have given to them. 

 

In reality, that is what we all want, and it applies to the conservatives, the liberals, and the independents, but we have a very misguided direction that is the fault of the people, not the government, as it applies to not finding that representative for which we are searching.  We have this illusion that we need to find someone who is willing to represent what I listed above, and that this individual will already have this ideology, mentality and projected direction, and therein, the problem should become obvious to all of us.  This person does not exist, and that is the very reason that we find ourselves consumed in anger and disappointment when the individual does not perform to our standards. 

 

Our government has evolved into a self-absorbed entity that literally does not serve the people, or the nation.  They serve themselves, and anyone who may not see that is, about three steps beyond the concept of reality.  Over the last few decades, we have allowed our government to dictate what they will do, as opposed to their actual role of representing us, as a people.  We as a people should tell the government what we expect from them, and it should be based on the United States Constitution and the Bill of rights, not on their own personal or political agendas.  We, as a nation have moved from a representative government, to a government that dictates our very lives, and that has moved very quickly into a government that is gaining more and more control of our personal lives every single day.  The truth is, and always has been that the government works for us, and their goal is to represent our voices, not their own. 

 

We should not be looking for that specific individual who is willing to serve and protect this nation based on the list I provided earlier in this write.  We should be demanding that anyone that we place into a representative position to have a simple understanding that they are there for a specific purpose, and that specific purpose has absolutely nothing to do with their personal or political agendas.  Until we understand this, and demand it from those we place into positions of authority, we will remain a controlled people.  We should make it clear to those we place into office that they will get a single chance to show how loyal they are to the people, and the nation, and their continued representation will be decided by us, based on how they listen and act as it applies to the voices of the people…

John 3:16: Meaning Of Tim Tebow's Touted Bible Verse And A Look Into Religion In Sports

Broncos star Tim Tebow once touted the Bible passage John 3:16 on his eye-black during his days as a Florida Gator, but the scripture passage gained more attention after the quarterback's 316 yards passing helped Denver clinch a nail-biting, overtime victory against the Pittsburgh Steelers on Sunday.

The quarterback's highly publicized Christian image has long been discussed among sports fans nationwide, but what's the significance of Tebow's favorite scripture passage and how has religion played a role in sports?

John 3:16 is a central scripture passage for Evangelical Christians, and it reads:

"For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life."

When Tebow etched the scripture in his eye-black for the 2009 BCS Championship Game, about 92 million people conducted a web search for the term, the Palm Beach Post reports.

The verse has previously made appearances at sporting games, most notably on sports fan Rollen Stewart's T-shirts and banners during the 1980s, Forbes reports. The born-again Christian wore a rainbow wig and displayed signs at games and major events, such as the Olympics and the World Cup.

During Sunday's game against the Steelers, the three-number sequence popped up more than a few times. CBS reports:

As our brilliant commenters point out below, Tebow completed 10 passes. That means he averaged 31.6 yards per pass. His final pass was to Thomas who just happens to have been born on Christmas Day. (!)

Oh and this: the Steelers-Broncos game was the most-watched wild-card game since 1988. In the final quarter-hour, the overnight rating was 31.6. Weird stuff man, weird stuff.

As it turns out, the lone interception thrown in the game on Sunday night came from Ben Roethlisberger. What down and distance were involved when he threw it? Third and 16. Of course.

Tebow isn't the first athlete to flaunt his faith in the limelight. Big-time athletes such as Tiger Woods, Muhammad Ali and basketball star Kareem Abdul-Jabbar have also been known for their religious beliefs.

In 2009, former Alabama player Mark Ingram spoke about God and the role faith played during his childhood when he received the Heisman trophy, a Yahoo! contributor observes.

In addition, Tebow is in good company with other NFL players, such as Cincinnati Bengals player Andy Dalton and Cleveland Browns player Colt McCoy, who also belong to the Fellowship of Christian Athletes, Christian News Today reports.

However, Tebow's expression of his Christian faith isn't always well-received and has occasionally become the focus of several parodies.

"Tebowing" quickly turned into an online meme, as web users photographed or videoed themselves taking a knee at random times, mimicking the quarterback's pause for prayer on the field.

In December, a "Saturday Night Live" skit featured Jesus coming into the Broncos' locker room, asking Tebow to "take it down a notch."

And in November, the quarterback unintentionally spurred a bout of controversy when fans began creating "Jesus" jerseys using Tebow's number.

But despite all of the flack, Tebow, perhaps unsurprisingly, had one person to thank after Sunday's win.

"First and foremost I just want to thank my Lord and savior, Jesus Christ. He's done so much in my life," Tebow told the media, the Los Angeles Times reports.

A Very Disturbing Silence

There is something with the current ongoing campaigning with those who have a goal to be the next occupant of the White House that I simply find quite disturbing. My concern is not related to the usual politics, although the usual is certainly as prevalent as it has been since any of the past elections that I can remember. No, this is related to what is not being said by the candidates, not what they are saying.

The eyes of the American people are beginning to open, and we do not like what is slowly coming into focus. We have had several laws, even recent additions that are a direct attack on our rights and freedoms. With the obvious efforts of the government to control and even silence the voices of the people with the Occupy Wall Street movement, we see our right to gather in protest is being questioned. There seems to be major concern with handgun ownership by common, law abiding citizens, as our government seems to feel threatened by that right of the citizens. There seems to be a building effort to gain control of, or at least to monitor the Internet, which could only be justified by the will of the government to control what we say or what we are allowed to hear. President Obama has appointed an “INTERNET CZAR” which basically places the Internet in the hands of the Executive Branch of our government. The media has been bought and paid for, and they tell us what they are allowed to tell us. Laws have been passed by our government, including very recent laws that will allow common citizens to be detained, disallowed legal representation, or a trial, and all of this is to be done while the citizen is not even charged with and actual crime that violates current laws. And the most fearful action of our government is the building of Fema Concentration Camps, which are basically prisons for holding common citizens who will not allow the government to gain more control without protest or actions against the government agenda. If you are awake, and have been monitoring all that is happening and is planned, what you see seems to be as if we are being taken over by a foreign government, not the government that we set up with our individual votes with each election. And if we are allowed to see the above components of the government agenda, what else must there be that has actually been kept as a secret from the American people?

Now, for me, personally, this is what I truly find very disturbing. With Obama, we expect what is happening, mainly because he is allowing it all to unfold as he occupies the Oval Office. He surprises no one with his silence on these issues, even those who support him. When you consider the Republican candidates who are before any camera that will get anywhere near them, and the numerous debates that fill the airwaves as an effort to present themselves as the only person capable of correcting our nation’s problems, you have to ask yourself a simple question. Why are none of the issues that I mentioned above even being noticed as being a problem for our nation? Are these candidates so ignorant as to not know of these issues? Of course not! Can they possibly not see these issues as being a threat to the very foundation of our nation? Of course not! In my personal opinion, there are four scenarios that would allow for their silence, and their intentional lack of acknowledgment of the problems that are growing far more quickly than our economy. My four scenarios are as follows.

(1) The candidate are clueless and should not even be considered as a future president. (No one believes this)

(2) The candidates are a part of, and support the government agenda and all it represents.

(3) The candidates are opposed to the government agenda, but have either been paid well to remain silent, or have been indirectly threatened to remain silent.

(4) The candidates know of the government agenda, but are willing to totally dismiss it because it will destroy any chances for election.

The bottom line is that there is absolutely no justification for their silence on these issues, and we should be very concerned about anyone being placed into the Office of the Presidency that is unwilling to move away from the silence and to support the people of this nation, and the very foundation from this dismantling process. There is a consideration that applies to our government officials that many of you may not allowed to enter your minds. If the Fema Camps do become a resort for those who will stray from total government loyalty, I say that many of the occupants will be government officials who have done the same. That would explain some of the silence from members of our government representation, but it also would tell us how we should feel about those that we have elected, as well as where their true loyalties fall.

Have You Had Your Flu Shot?  Please Read The Following Very Carefully…I Will Post Part Two Of This Write, Soon…

Part two will be the reason for this write, and the research that I have done.  It began with a visit to my local pharmacy…

 

“Mercury” is a chemical element with the symbol Hg and atomic number 80. It is also known as quicksilver or hydrargyrum (from "hydr-" water and "argyros" silver). A heavy, silvery d-block element, mercury is the only metal that is liquid at standard conditions for temperature and pressure; the only other element that is liquid under these conditions is bromine, and metals such as caesium, francium, gallium, and rubidium melt just above room temperature. With a freezing point of −38.83 °C and boiling point of 356.73 °C, mercury has one of the narrowest ranges of its liquid state of any metal.^[1][2][3]

Mercury occurs in deposits throughout the world mostly as cinnabar (mercuric sulfide). The red pigment vermilion is mostly obtained by reduction from cinnabar. Cinnabar is highly toxic by ingestion or inhalation of the dust. Mercury poisoning can also result from exposure to water-soluble forms of mercury (such as mercuric chloride or methylmercury), inhalation of mercury vapor, or eating seafood contaminated with mercury.

Mercury is used in thermometers, barometers, manometers, sphygmomanometers, float valves, some electrical switches, and other scientific apparatus, though concerns about the element's toxicity have led to mercury thermometers and sphygmomanometers being largely phased out in clinical environments in favor of alcohol-filled, galinstan-filled, digital, or thermistor-based instruments. It remains in use in scientific research applications and in amalgam material for dental restoration. It is used in lighting: electricity passed through mercury vapor in a phosphor tube produces short-wave ultraviolet light which then causes the phosphor to fluoresce, making visible light.

 

Mercury and its compounds have been used in medicine, although they are much less common today than they once were, now that the toxic effects of mercury and its compounds are more widely understood. The element mercury is an ingredient in dental amalgams. Thiomersal (called Thimerosal in the United States) is an organic compound used as a preservative in vaccines, though this use is in decline

 

Mercury, as thiomersal, is widely used in the manufacture of mascara. In 2008, Minnesota became the first state in the US to ban intentionally added mercury in cosmetics, giving it a tougher standard than the federal government

“Formaldehyde” is highly toxic to all animals, regardless of method of intake. Ingestion of as little as 30 mL (1 oz.) of a solution containing 37% formaldehyde has been reported to cause death in an adult.^[29] Water solution of formaldehyde is very corrosive and its ingestion can cause severe injury to upper gastrointestinal tract.

Occupational exposure to formaldehyde by inhalation is mainly from three types of sources: thermal or chemical decomposition of formaldehyde-based resins, formaldehyde emission from aqueous solutions (for example, embalming fluids), and the production of formaldehyde resulting from the combustion of a variety of organic compounds (for example, exhaust gases). Formaldehyde can be toxic, allergenic, and carcinogenic.^[5] Because formaldehyde resins are used in many construction materials it is one of the more common indoor air pollutants.^[30] At concentrations above 0.1 ppm in air formaldehyde can irritate the eyes and mucous membranes, resulting in watery eyes.^[31] Formaldehyde inhaled at this concentration may cause headaches, a burning sensation in the throat, and difficulty breathing, as well as triggering or aggravating asthma symptoms.^[32][33]

A 1988 Canadian study of houses with urea-formaldehyde foam insulation found that formaldehyde levels as low as 0.046 ppm were positively correlated with eye and nasal irritation.^[34] Although many studies have failed to show a relationship between formaldehyde and asthma, a recent review of studies has shown a strong association between exposure to formaldehyde and the development of childhood asthma.^[35] Chronic exposure at higher levels, starting at around 1.9 ppm, has been shown to result in significant damage to pulmonary function, resulting in reduced maximum mid-expiratory flow and forced vital capacity.^[36] There is also research that supports the theory that formaldehyde exposure contributes to reproductive problems in women. A study on Finnish women working in laboratories at least 3 days a week found a significant correlation between spontaneous abortion and formaldehyde exposure, and a study of Chinese women found abnormal menstrual cycles in 70% of the women occupationally exposed to formaldehyde compared to only 17% in the control group.^[36] There have been no studies done on the effect of formaldehyde exposure on reproduction in men.

The primary exposure concern is for the workers in the industries producing or using formaldehyde. As far back as 1987, the U.S. EPA classified it as a probable human carcinogen and after more studies the WHO International Agency for Research on Cancer (IARC), in 1995, also classified it as a probable human carcinogen. Further information and evaluation of all known data led the IARC to reclassify formaldehyde as a known human carcinogen ^[37] associated with nasal sinus cancer and nasopharyngeal cancer.^[38] Recent studies have also shown a positive correlation between exposure to formaldehyde and the development of leukemia, particularly myeloid leukemia

 

 

“Triton X-100” is a commonly used detergent in laboratories.^[2] For example:

• it can be used to permeabilize unfixed (or lightly fixed) eukaryotic cell membranes
• it is used in conjunction with zwitterionic detergents such as CHAPS to solubilize membrane proteins in their native state.
• Can be used in DNA extraction as part of the lysis buffer (usually in a 5% solution in alkaline lysis buffer).
• It can be used to reduce the surface tension of aqueous solutions during immunostaining (usually in concentration of 0.1-0.5% in TBS or PBS Buffer).
• Emerging use in dispersion of carbon materials for soft composite materials
• it is used in microbiology to restrict colony expansion in Aspergillus nidulans

Apart from laboratory use, Triton X-100 can be found in several types of cleaning compound,^{[citation needed]} ranging from heavy-duty industrial products to gentle detergents. It is also a popular ingredient in homemade vinyl record cleaning fluids together with distilled water and isopropyl alcohol. Triton X-100 appears as a final ingredient in several yearly influenza vaccines worldwide.

A Government Against The People…My Last Write Of 2011…

 

The government of The United States of America has this illusion that the citizens of this great nation are going to stand by as they destroy all that made this nation great.  They are dead wrong with their understanding of our strength, as a people, collectively, just as they are wrong with the direction they seem to have chosen for our nation.  The truth is, that the government is testing the waters to see what our reaction will be to the very thought and possibility of gaining complete control of our everyday lives, and they are obviously not able to see us for what we are.  We, the people have been pushed and pushed, with the endless attacks on our rights and freedoms and the virtual dismissal of the United States Constitution, as they move us into their desired direction.  We, the people are the government, and in reality, those in Washington simply work for us, or at least, that was the original intention.  If you wish to see a true representation of terrorism, you need to look no further than those we have elected into positions of leadership, who have failed the people in every aspect as it applies to their actual loyalties and roles that are associated with those leadership roles.  If you base it upon his actions and even his words, the president, himself seems to be an enemy of the people, collectively.  We have a president who claims to be a Constitutional Lawyer, yet has absolutely no respect for the document, itself.  He has made this clear over and over with both actions and words.  We have a president who speaks of using the military as an entity to control the people, as opposed to protecting them.  We have a president who has many mysteries behind his very existence, prior to and after his occupying the Oval Office, and he has legal representation that are making sure the mysteries remain a secret.  We have a president who has appointed 47 Czars that are to report to and are only to be held accountable by the president, himself.  He has appointed Czars that are related to the Legislative and Judicial branches of our government, and by doing so is shifting the powers of those two branches to the Executive Branch.  What this actually means is that he is manipulating our built in checks and balance system to give himself power that is simply not allowed to him based on the United States Constitution.  

 

Then we have the members of Congress who seem to be backing all that the president is pushing upon the people, either by actual association and agreement with him, or by standing silently by, as it happens.  If you disagree with the agenda being promoted by our government and you remain silent, then you are just as guilty as it relates to that agenda as those who fully support it.  Are we to believe that not a single representative in Washington, or even the President of the United States is willing to tell us the truth with the obvious treasonous agenda that is in full force in our plain view?  Is it possible that our government believes that 300 million people are going to play dead indefinitely as they literally destroy and dismantle the very foundation of this great nation?  Do they believe that this nation is going to be freely given to a few people that were never meant to be anything other than the voices of the people, collectively?  Do they believe we are willing to allow our nation to fail based on an agenda of a group of people in Washington that tell and show us daily that they literally do not give a damn about our nation?  The people are not out of line; it is the government who is completely out of control, and even they must know that they will be only allowed to go so far. 

 

There are Fema Concentration Camps set up, and are fully staffed at this time.  Do we not have a single government official who can even speak of this issue?  Guantanamo Bay is not full, and it houses the terrorists at this point.  We are told these concentration camps are to hold terrorists.  All but six states have at least one camp set up, and some states with many of the camps.  Some of the camps are set up to hold as many as two million individuals, and considering the bills that were passed that allow the government to detain common citizens indefinitely, without being charged of a crime, without the option of legal representation, without a trial, maybe it is time for us to become a little concerned.  By owning more than one personal firearm, you can be considered a terrorist.  Anyone who is stockpiling food for future needs can be considered a terrorist.  Anyone who speaks against the government can be considered a terrorist.  If the right person does not like you, you may be labeled as a military combatant, and you can find yourself in one of these camps, and you will be denied all rights and freedoms that are guaranteed by the United States Constitution.  This is not a possibility, my friends.  It is based on laws that are in place as I type this.  When you hear someone tell you to wake up, this is the very type of concerns we are speaking of that some have yet to see as what is actually already happening in our nation.

 

I have said it many times, and I will say it again.  Party loyalty has never been a logical method of decision making or governing.  We, as a nation, as a people are far beyond thinking that our problems can be solved by a simple election, or changing the party who is currently considered the majority in Washington. Washington collectively is the problem, and the sooner we realize that, the sooner we begin to understand the actual problems and seek solutions to those problems.  Party superiority is meaningless.  If the nation fails, it will simply not matter who will be viewed as the superior party.  If the nation fails, we all fall, not just the minority represented political party.  The Democratic leadership does not represent the left or the right.  They represent themselves.  The Republican leadership does not represent the right or the left.  They represent themselves.  If we would look with honest eyes, we would see that in reality, we simply do not have true leadership, but a government entity that has evolved into a self promoting, controlling process that is geared to represent themselves and their own best interest, as they create the illusion that they are looking out for the nation and the people who call it home.  Washington is our true problem, period.

The Start Of A New Year…A Message To aLL…

 

Another year is almost over, and a new one is waiting to take its place and to be with us until the next one.  New year’s resolutions will be made, some kept, some not, and some that are merely an illusion that change is a part of the plan for the New Year. 

 

The concept of making New Year resolutions is not a bad thing, but to me, it has always made me look much further than thoughts related to one day in the course of a year.  You see, to me evaluating your life on a single day represents a once per year focus, and that leaves 364 days that should receive the same type of focus.  If you honestly believe that evaluating your life for the simple reason that a new year is approaching is productive, shouldn’t it be clear that this should be a daily process in keeping yourself on track to meet all of your goals and intended direction?  Every day of your life is worthy of evaluation, and in reality is necessary in order to focus on long term goals. 

 

God does not have plans that relate to once per year, that will represent simple thoughts of what should be done until the next year.  Every moment we are alive is worthy of looking at what is before us, evaluating the moment, and using that moment in whatever way it may apply to our lives.  My “New Years Resolution” will be the same this year as it is every year.  It will be to place the same amount of focus on my goals and plans every single day, not just for the one day each year. 

 

Consider the following:

 

Borrowed Burdens

 

A man found himself staggering alone under a load that was heavy enough to crush half a dozen strong men. Out of sheer exhaustion, he put it down and had a good look at it. He found that it was all borrowed!

Part of it belonged to the following day; part of it belonged to the following week; and here he was borrowing it that it might crush him now! It was a very stupid but a very ancient (and also modern) blunder.

 

With the above words you see where the concept of trying to focus on too much can hinder the overall focus as it applies to the moment, the day, or the year in its entirety.  You need to look no further than our government to see my point with the lack of focus with the suggestion of pure focus.  With our government, their focus is the future, and as that focus remains entirely on the future, every minute before us is without focus, which explains why they are lost as to what is happening each day because of that lack of focus. 

 

Keep it simple

 

Living in Constant Crises

 

Have you ever thought about an ambulance? An ambulance tears around town with its siren blaring. It is always going to a crisis or leaving a crisis. It is built for emergencies.

Many people live the same way. They run their lives with a siren going. Every day is desperate, and every moment is a crisis, or preparation for one. Such as harried existence leaves no room for smelling roses or enjoying sunsets. Even worse, it leaves no time for sharing friendships and building love.

Finally, what if some of the things you are tearing around to do did not get done? Suppose you substituted a quiet walk around the block or time off to call on a friend or time out to read a book? Suppose you wrote an encouraging note to someone who really needed it? Would your world fall apart? Or would it perhaps get back into perspective? So "Seek first his kingdom and his righteousness and all these things will be given to you as well" (Mat_6:33).

 

People seem so in search of what they should do, when they should do it, and what will result from their actions.  The truth is that God has already decided on the plan that applies from the beginning of time, until the very end.  Our resolutions, as they apply to daily life should be based on following God’s plan, and that should be the focus of our daily lives, and rather than planning, it is merely a matter of following instructions that have been there all along to show us precisely what we are to do.  It is much more simple to determine our direction than many seem to realize.  Keep it simple, and follow God’s plan.  All else in your life will fit in, as it should. 

 

Looking at the Goal

 

The snow covered the ground, and three young boys were playing in it. A man said to them, "Would you like to try to race, with the promise of a prize for the winner?"

The boys agreed, and the man told them that his race was to be different. "I will go to the other side of the field," he said, "and when I give you the signal, you will start to run. The one whose footsteps are the straightest in the snow will be the winner."

As the race commenced, the first boy began looking at his feet to see if his steps were straight. The second lad kept looking at his companions to see what they were doing; but the third boy just ran on with his eyes fixed on the man on the other side of the field.

The third boy was the winner, for his footsteps were straight in the snow. He had kept his eyes on the goal ahead of him.

A long time ago, another man using similar words taught the same principle. It was Paul who said, "Forgetting what is behind and straining toward what is ahead, I press on toward the goal to win the prize for which God has called me heavenward in Christ Jesus" (Phi_3:13-14).

 

The story above shows how easily we can stray, even if we understand the goal, if we do not continue to focus on the most important components of achieving that goal.  If we have God’s will as our goal, we need to keep an eye on Him with every step we take in life.  A moment of lack of focus can allow us to get off track and lose focus of the goal, and we will surely end up lost until we regain our focus.

So, I leave you with a simple thought.  If you wish to make a resolution for the coming year, read your Bible.  The answers to all of life’s questions are within those Words.

Dear God,

 

I come to you as a man who is in need.  My needs in question are not of a personal level, but for our nation and even the world, as a whole.  We are at a point in our lives where we find ourselves being confronted from all sides by an evil entity that is within our own borders.  That entity has created an illusion of being representative of doing good for the people and what is in our best interest.  This entity is working against you, and is interfering with your Words and your chosen path, and it is moving at an alarming rate of speed. 

 

I can only speak for myself, as for the level of my faith, and my willingness to fight this evil entity with all that is within me, along with my support from you each day.  I ask of you, on behalf of all of us who place our lives in your hands, that you give us strength, direction, and the endurance to fight those who are working against your very will.  I ask that you stay with us every step of the way and guide us with your love as we uphold your goals for us as individuals, and as a people.

 

Please help our numbers, our intentions, and our resilience to be seen by the enemy with the actual strength and power that it truly represents.  Help us to show the true power of this world, as we place our trust in you to show us the way, as we fight to conquer this evil entity.  Our government is not our source of power, our source of leadership, and our basis for our daily existence.  You are our light in these dark times, and we turn to you, and place all we have, and all we are to be, into your hands.  Please hold us tightly as we move forward in your name.  Amen
