Washington Is Not Your God
Posted On 12/08/2011 02:53:26

Washington Is Not Your God

This write is going to be quite simple in form, yet it will have a wealth of knowledge and direction for those willing to see it as just that. There seems to be much talk of what all is happening as well as what is to come, as it relates to our nation and the people who call it home. Obvious warnings have been plentiful and continuous, and I decided to just simply list some of those warnings that are destroying the very fiber of our nation by changing the people, themselves.

First of all the family values are under attack and have been for decades. We have a government that seems to think they can dictate what is or is not acceptable behavior, and many are following them instead of their personal values, or those associated with our faith. Abortions are a constant part of our society, and life is being denied based on convenience or the sad illusion that it is our right to decide if life can be snuffed as a form of birth control or to prevent the responsibilities that come with a child. The government should not have the power to determine who should or should not live, nor make it possible for others to make that decision. I will not argue the abortion issue on this post. It is murder, plain and simple. It is ending a life, and the government does not get to tell me I am wrong on this. My values or my guidelines do not come from the government.

Whether someone chooses to have a gay relationship or not, is actually none of my business, and I do not judge those, as it is not my intention or my right to do so, even by my faith. So, I do not judge. Having said that we have a government that seems to think they should pass laws and to basically promote this as being a part of normal society that merits special attention and is not only encouraging our acceptance, but passes laws to ensure the acceptance or face consequences. This is not the role of the government, and once again, they step in and dictate what values should to be a part of our society. Just as with the abortion issue, family values, and the acceptance of that which goes against our values are being suggested and even dictated by our government.

Freedom of religion is in full force, unless you are a Christian. If you step on another faith, the media will eat you alive and present you as being nothing short of evil for simply not agreeing with all issues related to that religion, as attacks on Christianity go unnoticed. Don’t get me wrong. Other religions are subjected to vilification and even public denial, yet there is an ongoing effort to weaken the very foundation of the Christian faith. Thomas Jefferson had a vision, based on the fact that England was speaking of a national religion, and Jefferson saw that this would not be good for America, so he resolved to take steps to prevent this from happening. This is where the Separation Of Church And State (which is now a very clouded illusion compared to Jefferson’s original intended goal) came into play. The purpose of The Separation Of Church And State was to keep the government out of the church, not to keep the church out of the government. Could our representatives in Washington (collectively) for all of this time be so ignorant as to not understand this? No, they are not. Some of you will obviously find the need to argue this point, but when you take the very foundation of right or wrong out of the government, you should be able to see the reason for the continuing declination of not only our nation, but our basic family values, as well. How could anyone confuse Jefferson’s original words and think it could possibly suggest we should not have prayer in school. We should not have the right to display the Ten Commandments in front of a government building. We should not be able to take a Bible to school. We should encourage people to not use the word Christmas in a Christmas commercial on television. Basic family values are being set aside in the name of political correctness. Our standards of family values have been under attack for centuries, and our government has intentionally done so for a simple reason. All that is said or done should be based on their guidelines, not on our faith in God. Religion works against the agenda of the government, so it is intentionally under attack with the hopes of weakening that faith. The government has absolutely no power over my individual faith, yet at the same time, they are damaging the minds of those who choose to listen to them. And that is the plan.

Those of which choose to allow the government to dictate to them as to what is right or wrong are being led by an agenda, and right or wrong is not even a consideration within that agenda. It is all about control, and that is precisely what the government is doing. Sure, they can tell us it is wrong to lie, to steal, or to murder, but that is the part of the Founding Father’s original plan that was based on God’s laws, not that of Washington.

Washington wants you to believe that they are the ultimate power and the ultimate wealth of knowledge and wisdom. Follow them, and you surely will never find any of it. Wake up and just see what is before you, and what and how it is happening.

The government is not your friend. The government is not your parents. The government is not your God. They have a clear purpose (as determined by the United States Constitution) with their existence, and they have strayed so far from that purpose, that they no longer represent anything but themselves. They are destroying our nation, and they are doing so by destroying the people who call it home.

Never Alone

Never Alone

As I sit at the table

Drinking my morning coffee

Only one chair is being used

But, I am not alone

I decide to go for an early walk

Everyone else seems to still be asleep

No one around, the park is all mine

But, I am not alone

Now I am sitting in my car

Taking a morning drive into the city

Only one seat belt needed to ensure safety

But, I am not alone

Later in the day I am sitting back on the couch

May take a little nap, a daily activity

No one around to make noise or disturb me

But, I am not alone

I decide to work in the flowerbed

In front of the house, pulling some weeds

No one is helping me as I work

But, I am not alone

I sit on the patio out back, just relaxing

It is the beginning of the night, and darkness begins

Just me looking at the moon as I enjoy the solitude

But, I am not alone

The day is gone; its time to go to bed

I fold back the covers and fluff my one pillow

Plenty of room with only me in the bed

But, I am not alone

And as I sleep soundly throughout the night

Rolling all over the bed, just me

No noise and no distractions from anyone

But, I am not alone

I remind myself daily of the message in the above words.  At no point in my life, am I alone.  God is always with me, and there is no stronger comfort I can imagine.  That should be a blessing to all of us.  Knowing that the strongest, most influential, most caring entity in existence is always right by our side.  That is my strength.  I am never alone.

Sleeping Beauty...A Slightly Darker Version

Sleeping Beauty (A Slightly Darker Version)

A tear fell from the corner of my eye, and I remember wondering if it is possible to ever actually run out of tears. I watched her, in all of her beauty as she silently slept. This feeling within me has become the only comfort that exists and nothing else seemed to be allowed to either add or subtract from my hopes that I held onto with every moment of every day. So, I continue to watch her sleep.

My days are dormant and my nights are without sleep as I am consumed with the possibility of watching her eyes as they open. It has been almost a year since I heard her voice, looked into her eyes, or felt a touch that she had initiated. She has slipped away from me, and I am unsure if she will return, yet, I hold on with all that is within me for that very moment. So, I continue to watch her sleep.

Quite often, I would sit for hours, holding her hand in mine, talking to her with hopes that she could hear me. Had I listened to the doctors, I would have given up months ago, but I will not give up on her. She is still the same to me, even in her present condition, and I refuse to let go of what has been planted in my heart so long ago. So, I continue to watch her sleep.

Every night before I finally allow myself to go home, I read to her, and I have convinced myself that she can hear my words. I read the same story night after night, and have since she first vanished from a conscious existence. “Sleeping Beauty” is my source of material for her, because mainly to me, that is what I see before me. And at the end of the story, I lean over and kiss her so gently with hopes of something that has yet to come. So, I continue to watch her sleep.

My emotions are often in overdrive, a combination of pain, fear, hope, confusion, but always love. Often, it tears at my very soul, as my mind and my heart control a fight with each other as hope and possibility seem to be in a constant battle that last even into my sleeping hours. I block out the concerns of others and their suggestions for me to simply let go and to conceive of the fact that she will not return to me. I do not accept that as part of my thought process. So, I continue to watch her sleep.

Often I see her as her normal self, but only as I dream. But just the same, it helps me to remember for what I am fighting. Our quiet Sunday mornings doing nothing, yet at the same time knowing all is perfect. Our evening walks through the park, or just sitting on the bench silently, but understanding no words need to be spoken. And as strange as it may sound, I remember the peace of just watching her sleep and waiting for her eyes to open. So, I continue to watch her sleep. Every single night, it was always the same. I would hold her hand in mine, and talk to her about all that had been a part of my day. Many viewed me as being in denial, and simply not being realistic about what was before me. I told them that I was simply talking to the owner of my heart, and to not be concerned. To me, she is still with me, and as long as she is, I will be with her. So, I continue to watch her sleep.

I remember that night with every detail implanted vividly within my mind. I sat by her bed, holding her hand. As usual, as it became late into the night, I was reading to her. And as always, I was reading sleeping beauty. For some reason, I felt compelled to stay longer, so I read the story again to her. I finished the story for the second time, and closed the book, and placed it into her motionless hand. With tears flowing down my face, I leaned over and gently kissed her lips. I stood, and slowly began walking away from her bed. And then, I heard the softest voice behind me. “Will you read it to me again?” My sleeping beauty had awakened.

My Heart Aches For Those Who Do Not Know
Posted On 12/03/2011 05:18:08

My Heart Aches For Those Who Do Not Know

My heart aches for those

Who do not know God

What a horrible emptiness,

Even if they do not know it

A day without Him

Is simply beyond my comprehension

The very meaning of life

Would cease to exist within me

Just to imagine the absence

Of guidance and purpose in life

The inability to distinguish between right and wrong

In the true sense of those words

The lack of strength or the very reason

To even search for that strength each day

Looking off into the distance unknowingly

Blind to the most beautiful sight there is to be known

To have a heart that could never be filled

An emptiness never to be understood

Accepting it as a normal part of me

Not able to reach what is there for the taking

Never understanding the meaning of happiness

With only the deception created by the world around me

Wandering without direction continuously

Not even knowing what it is that I seek as I move

Unable to share the beauty of life, itself

As my understanding of life is incomplete and cloudy

Looking at all that is around me

But not seeing or understanding why it is there

Emotions and inner feelings would be quite shallow

Real comprehension would fail to exist to allow them

When pain would reveal its ugly face before me

The comfort that I know today would not be found

My longings for what is to come

Would be unknown to me in my daily life

That blessing of hope would simply not be

How sad it would be to not have that within me

The personal experiences,

And they are many

That proves over and over

What really matters to me

Life would be worthless

No need to look for reasons

Yet, I would not see the difference

As it would be unknown

Yes, without God in my life

Nothing would matter

No measurement of life

And no hope of what is to come

But God is in my life

And I cannot imagine it any other way

And that is why my heart aches

For those who do not know

The Heart Of A Little Girl

The Heart Of A Little Girl

He sat in front of the store most of the day, every day for as long as I can remember.  There were holes in his shoes, and his clothes were dirty and wrinkled.  His mind was not as it once was, but he knew no differently since his understanding had vanished with his mind.  He wore a baseball cap that seemed as old as he was, and the bill of the cap was a pin that read, “God, bless you.”  The old man was always smiling, never giving the impression that anything was wrong in his life.  Everyone knew of him, but no one really knew anything about him.  They called him Jack because that was the name on the shirt he would always be wearing.  It was never for sure what his name actually was.

Each and every day, as people passed him, he would smile and say good morning, good afternoon, or sometimes just say hello.  He spoke to everyone, no matter who they were and generally people would speak to him.  On that morning, about a week before Christmas, several people got together and had a talk about him.  It was common knowledge that he had never asked anyone for anything, and that made many wonder just how he survived each day for such a long time.  The community decided that it was simply wrong to allow his existence to remain so shallow, and that maybe they needed to take action to make sure he was given better care than what is the case at this point.

Several people confronted him all during the day.  Some offered to get him something to eat, some offered him money, and some even offered to take him to buy him clothes.  The owner of the store even offered to allow him to stay in the room in the back of the store.  With every offer, Jack said thank you, but I do not need anything.  No one really understood his reaction, and became even more concerned, but there was really nothing they could do.  You cannot force someone to accept your gifts.

So, Jack just sat there in front of the store, as usual just passing the day.  Later in the afternoon, a little girl walked by Jack and she spoke to him before he got a chance to speak to her.  This was unusual to Jack, because usually he never heard a word unless he spoke first.  The little girl asked him his name, and the one who was known as Jack told her that his name was Elton.  She told him that her name was Emma, and she sat down beside him.  They talked for about an hour and Emma promised to come back the next day to see him.  There was a big smile on Elton’s face as the little girl walked away.  It was the first time in years that someone had actually talked to him and he seemed quite overwhelmed by the gesture.

Days passed and Elton had not heard from Emma since their first meeting, and his heart felt quite heavy.  He had been accustomed to not getting real reactions from most people, but he had honestly believed her to be different.  She was the only one who took time to talk to him and to really listen to what he had to say.  He wondered if he would ever see her again.

It was Christmas morning, and as any other day, Elton sat in front of the store.  Everything was closed, so he was on the street all-alone with no one else anywhere in site.  He held his head low and for some reason felt alone on this day.

Suddenly, he felt a tap on his shoulder and he raised his head to see who had tapped him.  It was Emma and she just smiled and sat down beside him.  She told him that she was sorry for not coming back to visit as promised, but stated that she had been busy trying to do something.  She then reached into her coat pocket and pulled out some index cards wrapped in a rubber band.  Emma told Elton that she wanted to show him something, but he could not say anything until she was finished.  Elton smiled and promised to just listen.

Emma proceeded to tell him the following…

This card is from the owner of the hotel.  It is a promise that you will always have a place to live.  This card is from the store behind you.  It says you will always be able to come here to get groceries whenever you need them.  This card is from Mr. Wilson’s store.  It says that whenever you need clothes, you will have them.  This card is from the diner.  It says you can always have something to eat.  This card is from the barbershop.  It says you can always go there when you need one.  This card is from the doctor’s office.  It says you can always go there if you do not feel good.  Emma then took the cards, wrapped the rubber band back around them and put them into Elton’s hand.  She then hugged him and took his hand and helped him to stand.  Emma told him that her family is waiting for them and that they wanted him to spend Christmas day with them.

So Emma and Elton began walking down the street, hand in hand toward her house and Emma stopped, and reached back into her coat pocket.  She removed yet another card and took Elton by the hand.  This card is from me.  It says that you can always be happy.

Just Some Personal Thoughts
Posted On 11/30/2011 08:07:43

Just Some Personal Thoughts

This has been one of those days where I find myself looking into my own heart, and looking for reassurance for where I am, where I am going, and how I will get there. I think many of us do this from time to time, and yet I think it must happen with each of us to determine our daily walk in life and how and why we are who we are. I do find peace within myself in one simple fact, and it does offer me comfort as I move on daily with whatever may come before me.  Whether my words be related to politics, common life situations, or my faith, I know that my words to others are based on what I feel is right and good, not based on anything that is geared at a personal, selfish value to me, as an individual. Others may at times look at my words and assume them to be guided by others, whether it be religion or politics, and that is their loss, for they assume what is not based on the truth that is a part of me.

With my life before me, I separate myself from all others in a sense that the ways of the world do not influence the true strength in me, which is based on my faith in God, and how He is a part of my life. The wars, the corruption in the nation, and even the world, the deception, the intentional misguiding of us from those who do not share a common goal with us, and even all that is not good that exists, does not weaken me, nor allow me to lose focus on my own life. If these components of life were allowed to weaken me, or take away my focus on my personal goals, and especially my faith, then my focus is not where it should be in the first place. My friend, Dena encouraged some thought within me as it relates to the obstacles that are a part of our lives, and thanks to her wonderful words, it has actually strengthened my focus and made me dig just a little deeper as I look within myself.

I often wonder if people realize how blessed they are in life, even during the difficult times that are before us as a nation. I wonder if knowing you will eat your next meal, having a roof above your head, or being surrounded with friends and family who love you is not looked at as a daily part of life, but a true blessing in the true sense of the word. So often, we seem to take for granted what we refer to as the little things, but in reality, these little things are the basic fundamentals of life, itself. I wonder if others think of the fact that these little things are something that others not only worry about, but also they know will not be a part of their world tonight, or even tomorrow. If you are not 100% sure of what will happen tomorrow, and none of us are, rather than to worry, or to cause those around you to worry, be thankful for what is before you today. I will determine what will happen tomorrow, and I will deal with it, but it will not destroy my today by worrying about what is to come. Those who have true faith know what is to eventually come to us, and that is the only thing that is a certainty within our lives. All else that happens is merely steps in that direction, and with true faith, we know the path is cleared to the point that nothing will obstruct that path, unless we allow it to happen. That is what we need to realize with our faith in God. There is no power on Earth that can destroy that individual faith without our allowing it to happen. That knowledge is my true strength in life, and it allows me to be strong when the less than perfect times are a part of my life. With that stable foundation, I find it is much easier to move through life, because the very foundation holds me as I move. And because of this, I realize that the less than perfect times are a blessing, as well, because they allow me to grow, and a part of that growth is wisdom as it applies to life, itself. Any learning experience in life, whether it is based on something good, or something that is not so good, it is still a learning experience. It is a tool to be used in life, and it is intentionally a part of life. The less than perfect times within our lives are just as much a part of our lives as the pleasant times, but quite often, they are far more valuable, so use them as a tool of life, just as they were meant to be.

The actual purpose of this write was to look at myself, although I chose to do so in a way that my thoughts were shared with others who may read them. I think it is quite important to evaluate ourselves on a regular basis and look at where we are, as opposed to where we should be. I find it makes me work just a little harder to position myself in a manner that is in my favor, but also as it relates to the conditions of my faith. Bless you all, my friends…Vic

The Art Of Joaquin Sorolla y Bastida
Posted On 11/29/2011 10:56:12

Photobucket

Joaquín Sorolla was born on 27 February 1863 in Valencia, Spain. Sorolla was the eldest child born to a tradesman, also named Joaquin Sorolla, and his wife, Concepción Bastida. His sister, Concha, was born a year later. In August 1865, both children were orphaned when their parents died, possibly from cholera. They were thereafter cared for by their maternal aunt and uncle.[2]

He received his initial art education, at the age of fourteen, in his native town, and then under a succession of teachers including Cayetano Capuz, Salustiano Asenjo. At the age of eighteen he traveled to Madrid, vigorously studying master paintings in the Museo del Prado. After completing his military service, at twenty-two Sorolla obtained a grant which enabled a four year term to study painting in Rome, Italy, where he was welcomed by and found stability in the example of F. Pradilla, the director of the Spanish Academy in Rome. A long sojourn to Paris in 1885 provided his first exposure to modern painting; of special influence were exhibitions of Jules Bastien-Lepage and Adolf von Menzel. Back in Rome he studied with José Benlliure, Emilio Sala, and José Villegas.[3]

In 1888, Sorolla returned to Valencia to marry Clotilde García del Castillo, whom he had first met in 1879, while working in her father's studio. By 1895, they would have three children together: Maria, born in 1890, Joaquín, born in 1892, and Elena, born in 1895. In 1890, they moved to Madrid, and for the next decade Sorolla's efforts as an artist were focussed mainly on the production of large canvases of orientalist, mythological, historical, and social subjects, for display in salons and international exhibitions in Madrid, Paris, Venice, Munich, Berlin, and Chicago.[4]

His first striking success was achieved with Another Marguerite (1892), which was awarded a gold medal at the National Exhibition in Madrid, then first prize at the Chicago International Exhibition, where it was acquired and subsequently donated to the Washington University Museum in St. Louis, Missouri. He soon rose to general fame and became the acknowledged head of the modern Spanish school of painting. His picture The Return from Fishing (1894) was much admired at the Paris Salon and was acquired by the state for the Musée du Luxembourg. It indicated the direction of his mature output.[5]

Portrait of Dr Simarro at the microscope, 1897, (Luis Simarro Legacy Trust, Fundación General, Complutense University)

Sorolla painted in 1897 two masterpieces linking art and science: Portrait of Dr. Simarro at the microscope (seen at right) and A Research. These paintings were presented at the National Exhibition of Fine Arts held in Madrid in that year and Sorolla won the Prize of Honor. Here, he presents his friend Simarro as a man of science who transmits his wisdom investigating and, in addition, it is the triumph of naturalism, as it recreates the indoor environment of the laboratory, catching the luminous atmosphere produced by the artificial reddish-yellow light of a gas burner that contrasts with the weak mauvish afternoon light that shines through the window. These paintings may be among the most outstanding world paintings of this genre.

Friendburst Has Banned Me...Unjustified Dismissal...
Posted On 11/27/2011 05:30:18

About and hour ago, I was banned from the site, "Friendburst" and it was for a reason that in itself, justifies the contents of the blog that led to being banned.  When you are only allowed to speak words that are acceptable by those in charge, a clear message is being sent to ensure your freedom to present thoughts and opinons will be based on the what is allowed by the site, not by your personal choice.  The words below speak for themselves, and it should be obvious that those words were not presented in anger, nor were they presented with malice.  The bulletin that announced the blog was immediately removed and comments in the status stream were removed as well, as I asked for an explanation as to why my words were being stifled.  Within minutes of my last status comment being posted, I found myself no longer a member of the site.  Below is the blog that led to the banning.

The site has an option to reinstate my membership, and upon that reinstatement, this post will be removed.  If not, this blog will be posted on my other sites, and I will post the link to the blogs on Twitter to ensure a wider viewing.  My words are based on truth, and I am merely reporting that truth.

My Opinion As To Why Friendburst Is Not Growing

This is my personal opinion and observation, and nothing more…

First of all, it should be said that Friendburst, as a site is set up as anyone could possibly hope to see on a social web site.  The basic foundation is pretty much at maximum performance as far as the ease of navigation and the options with the formats and layouts of all areas within the site.  That is something that should be attracting many people on a constant basis.  In my opinion, Friendburst is the best site there is as far as the way it has been developed and constructed.

The administration is more personal and outgoing on this site than with any social web site on the Internet, and the members are allowed to be a part of the ongoing changes.  This is yet another plus for the site.

Now, what I am about to say is not meant to discredit the site in its entirety, but it is my personal opinion, and it is something that I have personally been affected by with my time here at Friendburst, and it is related to the lack of growth.  It should not be viewed as showing disrespect to the owner or the administration, because that certainly is not my goal or my intended direction.

This site is geared toward chatting, music, poetry, and contests.  That should not be a problem, but it goes beyond the simple choice of these components of life on a social web site.  It is simply all that is freely allowed, and the word is out on the other sites.  Politics and Religion are basically only allowed to be hidden in the background, and the discussions on the blogs seem to be always monitored closely and people have dropped like flies from this site, not just voluntarily, but banned by the site, itself.  The politics and religion are frowned upon so much with this site that posting bulletins to announce one of these blogs has been said to be unacceptable by the administration.  I have had several bulletins disappear in a single day, as soon as they would be posted.  If that is the rule, so be it, but with that lack of freedom of speech comes consequences.

This is where I see the problem.  If a site is going to not allow freedom of speech, unless it applies to the issues that are deemed acceptable by the site, itself, then this should simply be made clear by the site, and certain members should not be forced to hide in the background, yet that is the right of the owner of any site, if he/she makes that choice.  Freedom of speech is not required on a web site, as with the nation, itself, but is based on what the site allows.  So, in saying that, I am not disputing the right of the owner of a site to allow or not allow anything they wish.

I am about the only conservative blogger left on the site, and the others have either left on their own, or many of them have been banned.  The liberal bloggers are still in full force with little chance of being banned, regardless of what they may do.  Before anyone gets angry, maybe you should do a head count and see for yourself how many of the conservatives have been allowed to remain on this site.  The left does not literally hate the right and the right does not literally hate the left.  We have disagreements, and we do so in a blog format and both the left and the right want it to be open for discussion or debate.  When someone is banned, or basically forced to leave because they are not allowed to speak freely, they are not going to praise this site for its tolerance or allowing the ability to speak their minds.  I am on about five other sites, and I have heard some of the former members express their opinions on the lack of freedom of speech as it applies to Friendburst.  It is not the publicity a new site needs if it expects to attract new members and to grow at a projected rate.  The conservative bloggers have either been banned or left on their own, but it was because of not being allowed to speak their minds on both counts, with some cases of TOS conditions.  The liberals are all still here, still blogging as they wish, about what they wish, and I do not have a problem with that.  I have a problem with only them being allowed to do that, while anyone who opposes them is a target for dismissal based mainly on the fact that the opinion may represent a dispute, and not make everyone feel good, and that is the message being spread about Friendburst from some of the former members.

When you will not allow your members to feel comfortable about existing on your site as they choose to post issues related to religion and politics, you are sending a loud message to a very large part of the blogging society that they are not welcome, so you will miss out on the largest area of possible members available.  If that is your choice, that is fine, but that is the reason that you are not seeing the site grow, as you obviously are wanting.  This site could easily explode as far as membership growth, but it will not happen as long as only certain people are welcome.  If you do not want politics or religion on this site, that is fine, but you need to understand that without it, you should not expect the growth you are wanting.

Now to those on the left who may read this, it should not make you angry to read my words.  You are in a position whereas you can post a blog and only talk among yourselves.  Open debate or discussions are no longer even possible, mainly because there are very few of us on the right remaining to participate.  I miss that, and I am sure some of you do as well.  At one time we were allowed to have discussions and debates between the right and the left, and you enjoyed them just as much as we did.  Those days are gone on this site, and many of the original bloggers are now gone from the site.  We don’t have to agree on everything, nor do we, but we are no longer allowed to actually make our thoughts and opinions known to each other.  This has affected the left, just as it has the right.

This write is not an attack on anyone, especially on the site, itself.  The owner of a social Internet site can allow or disallow anything he/she wishes, but those decisions do have an impact on the growth and stability of the site.  This is merely my personal observation and opinion and it relates only to me with my efforts to make one thing clear.  The freedom to write about our choices, not those of the site opens up a giant welcome sign to new members, and that should be the goal of the site.  The more members you have, the more attractive your site will be to your sponsors or future sponsors, and that will finance the site.  When you deny certain areas of the Internet society a welcome mat, then you are extending the same denial to future sponsors.  What I speak of is in the best interest of the site, if your actual goal is to grow the site and to accumulate as many members as possible.  No one should be angry at my words, because they are not meant to be of a negative nature in any manner.  Vic Damico

Comments are going to be closed on this post…It is meant to serve as an opinion, not an open debate…Many will have different takes on what I have written, and I am not inviting argument or unnecessary commentary.

Note...Comments are not closed on this post on Boomers...They were closed in thier original presentation on Friendburst to avoid any negative expansion of the issue.
