I like sappy romantic movies. Hubby even endures them with me. I also watch different series on T.V.

It was so much fun to rake the leaves and then jump into the pile. It didn't take much to make us happy when I was growing up. Just your friends and a pile of leaves
Getting dressed up and going from door to door to get candy was so much fun at Halloween. There was never any thought of somebody putting something into the candies to hurt you

My favorite music is the old hymns; but I also enjoy Gospel Groups with their new songs. I like the old songs of the 60's and 70's where you could understand what they were saying.
Hayrides were so much fun. In my mind I can still hear the laughter and singing
There is nothing more calming than the sound of a gentle flowing stream

I'm not an avid reader like some of you; but I do love to read my Bible. It gives me direction for my life. I also enjoy light romance stories and anything to do with the British Royal family

I play the organ and also like to paint and crochet. I'd like to do more, but arthritis is starting to set in to my hands and knees - that's life!

I am a real person - what you see if what you get. I am a lot of things; but my main identity is that I am a born again Christian. I don't just believe in God, I have a personal relationship with Him. I believe I am loved and forgiven because of Jesus dying on the cross and giving me eternal hope because He rose from the grave; and I hope I will never be ashamed to declare this
I have been married to the love of my life for 49+ years; and I thank God each day for this man that loves me. We have 2 married grown boys and daughters-in-law, and four wonderful grandchildren.

I LOVE THE WIND; especially when it's not a freezing wind. I try not to wear masks, but be a real person. My love tank gets filled when I'm around my grandchildren. I enjoy laughter and being with my husband - his quirky sense of humor makes me laugh and we laugh a lot together. It truly is like medicine
The changing of the leaves isn't the only thing that is beautiful at this time of the year. Take time to enjoy the Fall sunsets
There are wonderful smells to enjoy in the Fall; everything from the pickles just made, the smell of fall leaves, and the kitchens that are filled with the aromas of homemade apple and pumpkin pies

A big turn off for me is when people use God's name in the wrong way - that hurts my heart; also some of the nasty words people have in their vocabularies these days. even though fall is pretty. I don't like having to say good-bye to my flowers and see the leaves falling off the trees
I don't like that it's getting too chilly to hang my washing out on the line
Even the animals know it's getting colder. The squirrels are burying nuts and some animals are getting their winter coats on
Even though I like spending the evenings with hubby; I wish we didn't have to put warmer clothes on and even turn our gas fireplace on some nights in the Fall
I really don't like seeing the leaves coming off the trees. It's a reminder of what is ahead

We knew it was only a matter of God's timing.
This was me yesterday having fun!
It did NOT look anything like this. But it was a beautiful site after 75 days with less than an 1" of rain.
It started and ended gentle and in between was downpour for several hours.
When it was all done, we had 3" of beautiful rain!
Just wanted you to know it is raining now!
