a special teapot.. found from 1876..used by king edward..king in 1901 after queen Victoria  died.....7 inch tall antique... now worth £12.000  [$24.000]....made  by famous  Minton porcelaine ...the tea  pours  from the Robins ....beak:)...must be very delicate       

           auction is on september 19 in UK...

....thats an expensive cup...of  tea!

.A   red woollen jersey worn by Princess Diana  in 1981... when she was watching prince charles  play polo..newly engaged to be married .....it is bright  red...and features. rows of white sheep.....after she damaged the original...she contacted the firm..Warm and Wonderful.. for a replacement ...they knitted a new one..and had a hand written..thankyou.. note from diana.....[the original item was stored in an attic...for 20 yrs.....and so now it is up for auction at Sothebys...London .in september..valued up to £70.000...[$.140.000]......amazing...hope its  checked in case ..moths ..took a  few  nibbles from it!!!]

..the jersey increased in value as Diana sadly lost  her life in a   car accident in Paris in 1997

its an expression of endearment ..that mothers or fathers have used....for their  children...

xx a veryold saying even before Shakes peare, it was  in Midsummers  Night  dream*...also in the bible  of 1611.in deuteronomy.......it has been seen in some  authors  books .Trollope in Dr  Thorne* refers in 1858...and Nancy Mitford .in *Love in a cold  climate*1949...the daughter is described as a *Treasure....and The apple of their  eye**....it is supposed to refer to a cox s pippin ...rosy Apple xx...an apple was Globular  in shape ..it was describing...the PUPil   ..of the eye ..Sight is considered  PRecious...and an apple.....is an ENdearement ......the phrase took on  a figurative   sense ....that we ,, retain to  this day,,,,.....it is  a nice sentiment ....if someone calls you a little *Apple**
