CREATING A HEALTHY LIFE
Health:
1. Drink plenty of water.
2. Eat breakfast like a king, lunch like a prince and dinner like a beggar.
3. Eat more foods that grow on trees and plants and eat less food that is manufactured in plants.
4. Live with the 3 E's -- Energy, Enthusiasm and Empathy.
5. Make time for spiritual self care i.e.(meditation/prayer)
6. Play more games.
7. Read more books than you did in 2009.
8. Sit in silence for at least 10 minutes each day.
9. Sleep for 7 hours.
10. Take a 10-30 minutes walk daily. And while you walk, smile.
Personality:
11. Don't compare your life to others. You have no idea what their journey is all about.
12. Don't have negative thoughts or things you cannot control. Instead invest your energy in the positive
13. Don't over do. Keep your limits.
14. Don't take yourself so seriously. No one else does.
15. Don't waste your precious energy on gossip.
16. Dream more while you are awake.
17. Envy is a waste of time. You already have all you need.

19. Life is too short to waste time hating anyone. Don't hate others.
20. Make peace with your past so it won't spoil the present.
21. No one is in charge of your happiness except you.

39. Do what works…stop doing what doesn’t work.
SESSION HANDOUT: HL005 © 2010 TRANSITIONAL LIFE COACHING & CONSULTING
I am writing this blog to a very "special" person in my life who has brought me great joy and happiness:
As a "Life Coach" one of my coaching specialties is in the area of people relationships. I think that people are the happiest when they have healthy relationships, especially in the area of friendships. To acquire and maintain healthy friendships one has to (in my opinion) create healthy "boundaries" in their own life which clearly says and is made known in a kind way to others: "This is ok and this is not ok" in the way I will allow you to treat me, "this will will work and this will not work. Concerning healthy friendships I believe the apostle Paul in his writing states the qualities of a healthy friendship that one should strive to be as a friend and also applies to those who you recieve as a friend...the context is concerning "Love" but I would use the word friend:
"Love(a friend is) patient, love(a friend) is kind, and is not jealous; love(a friend) does not brag and is not arrogant, does not act unbecoming; it does not seek its own, is not provoked, does not take into account a wrong suffered, does not rejoice in unrightessness, but rejoices with the truth; bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things....." ref:Apostle Paul's first letter to the church at Corrinth: I Corinthians 13:4-7.
The questions is..."do we do all the above all the time perfectly?" I would be the first to sadly say no.... realistically I don't think anyone does. If we can find a person that has 80% of the above I believe as a true friend who authenically loves and cares for and about each other.....they can help each other with the other 20%.. and if one or the other does not want to respect those boundaries set...then perhaps they are just acquaintances in our life that come and go either by our choice or theirs and we "burn the bridges" behind us...learn..and move on with our life and still be kind to them as hard as it may be.
Lastly, "If we can do nothing to help another, please do nothing to hurt them" dali rama
Take care my dear special friend,
