The Journey: Trash from shipwrecks, coastal living, or tossed overboard ends up on the ocean floor.
The Tumble: The rolling action of the tide grinds the glass against sand and rocks, smoothing out all the sharp edges.
The Frost: Saltwater and natural minerals chemically react with the glass, creating a pitted, frosted surface over 20 to 50+ years
