As far back as I can remember, music has been a major part of my life. My mother was an accomplished and classically trained pianist, and I was brought up listening to the great contemporary and jazz standards of the day, as well as classical. I'm fond of rock, pop, and R&B from my youth, but also enjoy other genres. Progressive, post-rock, and post-classical are my current preferences. They are diverse and vibrant.

I was born and raised in The South. Lived in California for about ten years. Have been fortunate to travel some in my life. Visited some great places, and have met some wonderful people along the way. Still plan to see a lot more of this world.
