The list is long and easily recognizable I suppose, but I seldom go to the theater. preferring to wait for the video to come out and then renting it from NetFlix.

Golden Oldies, of course, and some country music (especially if it tells a story). I also like semi-classical music and new age music by such people as Enya, Herb Ernst, etc.

I never got into hard rock and I have no use for rap.

Popular fiction and some autobiographies. I read a fair bit and also enjoy listening to audiobooks (been an Audible customer almost from the day it came online).

Humm. Well let's see...About four years ago at the age of 53 I took some horseback riding lessons and fell in love with those beautiful animals. Now I usually go trail riding at least once a week. I am also a licensed amateur radio operator (advanced class license). In the past couple of months I have begun to develop an interest in photography in an effort to maintain at least one common interest with my daughter.

I call myself "quasi-retired" ("Quasi" means "partly" or "somewhat", right? Well, that's me.)I'm a retired retail business owner. I do some substitute teaching while waiting for my wife to be able to retire from teaching in another two years. I do some volunteer work with "Saddleup" a therapeutic horseback riding group for children with special needs.I also volunteer some time in the summer to a camp for children who are vision impaired.

As I get older I find myself having less and less respect for politicians as a group. There may be a few exceptions, but it just seems to me that there is no one left with anything even remotely approaching altruistic motives or who is genuinely interested in their constituents' concerns. I have no use for people who go waaay overboard with the whole "political correctness" thing; also People who would rather argue merely for the sake of arguing.
