To speak truly, few adult persons can see nature. Most persons do not see the sun. At least they have a very superficial seeing. The sun illuminates only the eye of the man, but shines into the eye and heart of the child. The lover of nature is he whose inward and outward senses are still truly adjusted to each other; who has retained the spirit of infancy even into the era of manhood. ~Ralph Waldo Emerson

Climb the mountains and get their good tidings. Nature's peace will flow into you as sunshine flows into trees. The winds will blow their own freshness into you, and the storms their energy, while cares will drop off like autumn leaves. ~John Muir

“We say we love flowers, yet we pluck them. We say we love trees, yet we cut them down. And people still wonder why some are afraid when told they are loved.”,

About me: I have lived many lives. At least it feels that way. My soul belongs in the woods, beside the rivers and among the flowers. This is were I am happy. I love my family and my true friends. I am happiest when I am creating. I enjoy photography, painting(although I 'm not very good) gardening and reading. My favorite color is purple. I love my quartz crystals which I have many.I've been collecting crystals for over 30 years. One piece was given to me by my grandmother, which was given to her by her mother, which was found by her brother during the civil war. You could say crystals run in our family. I try to see beauty in everyone and everything. I believe in karma. What goes around, comes around. So live your life the the best you can and be the best person you can be. I always say"You never know when your actions or words become part of someones memories Who I'd like to meet:
The Creator, I have a lot of questions. My spirit guide/guardian angel. Thank you so much. I know you have worked overtime. Anyone who enjoys the beauty of nature. It would be nice if they enjoyed cooking or DIY projects. Most of all, it would be nice if they just wanted to be friends.

I remember a hundred lovely lakes, and recall the fragrant breath of pine and fir and cedar and poplar trees. The trail has strung upon it, as upon a thread of silk, opalescent dawns and saffron sunsets. It has given me blessed release from care and worry and the troubled thinking of our modern day. It has been a return to the primitive and the peaceful. Whenever the pressure of our complex city life thins my blood and benumbs my brain, I seek relief in the trail; and when I hear the coyote wailing to the yellow dawn, my cares fall from me - I am happy. ~Hamlin Garland, McClure's, February 1899
