I like almost anything by Patricia Cornwell. Karen Slaughter is good for a beginner.Tess Garritson is good. The names escape me at the moment, there are so many.

I read. I try to sketch a little but I'm not very good at it. Animals. I take care of many. Much prefer them than people. Now and then crafts. I don't have too many hobbies. Plants and gardening.

Hello! I'm a 56 year old married woman with 3 grown children and 3 grandchildren. The years have flown by and life has been full of surprises. My kids are all grown and my grand kids are nearly there. Life flies by before you know it. I'm an animal lover and Mom to many fur babies too. We retired here to Arkansas from Michigan. I am just beginning to get back into artwork again after putting it off for way too long. I love art, music and at times, I even like shopping! I absolutely adore my grand kids. They live in Michigan and come to stay for the month of July each year. So July is my 'I;m not here' month. They consume me and I love every minute of time I spend with them. So much so that I want to go back to Michigan...snow and cold or not! I have Rheumatoid Arthritis and take a lot of medications to keep it under control...sometimes I have flare ups no matter what. It is difficult to live a full and active life but I try. And at times, I fail. Life is up and down for me so at times I get depressed. I try to deal with it. I love people and enjoy the time I spend with them. I like warm weather...it's too hot in Arkansas...and long, slow rains. I like tranquility...peace. I hate anger...it makes me feel bad. It really is an emotion I have little use for..in anyone. And yes, I have a temper but only when it comes to abuse of those unable to defend themselves or animals. I believe in GOD. HE is a part of my life. I am not perfect and try hard not to judge others. I talk too much when nervous...which is always. I believe we need to try harder to obtain Peace and that we should start by being good to others. Everyone wants to control everyone else. We need to stop and question our own motives...instead of someone elses. Life is too short to continue the way we are. I'm pretty simple actually. Spread the love. Spread the Peace. Be better. Smile at someone today. Thanks.
