This picture of Livvy, next door neighbor, loving a Giant Turtle brought back memories to me.
Growing up, we had turtles in our backyard. We would find them on the side of the road going to and from the 500 acre Ranch we had in South Texas. We would number them with fingernail polish and be careful when mowing.
Our granddaughters have raised these turtles from little ones in an aquarium.
Wayne made their first home in a metal water trough with a spraying fountain.
They are in a rubber stock tank home now as they have grown.

I took a nap and just woke up., took a 4 hour nap when i woke up I thought it was saturday
just went for coffee., it was a beautiful day., tomorrow the same I have eye appointment in the morning., it going to be another nice day., were having thunder storms now,
We are completely overcast today and only 79°. We were in a drought and I think we are still a little behind our average but we have more chances of rain soon. My hummers come and go as quickly as possible when I am sitting out there. So I still don't have any pictures. We will be cool near 50 for a couple of mornings toward the first of next weel.
This is what my hair looked like today. I had a doctor appoinment that was an hour away. Went to Bealls, and then to Walmart. My hair looked or felt so lovely when I went in each store. Then I went and got some food and a drink at Sonic and ate in my car. Then I went across the street to Braums to use their restroom. Then I went to my appoinment. I was constantly trying to calm down my hair. It looked so good before I left the house. I hope your day has been good. Mine as you can see, its been busy. Thanks Beth, love your page! It's warmed up this week. If the rain holds off may hit 80. 77 currently. Last week it was snow off and on. Nothing stuck but you know what I mean, SNOW!

Hi Beth! well, I got through the 1st day of my new exercise commentment, and didn't die...I had saved some exercise video's for seniors off of Instagram over the last few weeks, so I started with one of those. My knee surgeon told me I needed to start doing more strength building exercises along with the walking, that would help both of my knees...it's taken me a few weeks to get my mojo up to start doing something more than looking at the videos! LOL! I've also lost 11 lbs (I've been working on that too) since Dec...why does it take so dang long to lose pounds, but I can GAIN them in a day?
