I'm an avid reader. I enjoy historically based fiction, science fiction, dystopian fiction and true crime stories...any kind of book really as long as the she story is good. I also enjoy some fantasy and of course the classics like Tom Sawyer, White Fang, Robinson Crusoe, etc.



HOBBIES



My hobbies include growing stuff....lately it's flowers of course with the Spring weather just calling for it. I also plant peppers each Spring..whatever kinds I can find. I enjoy travel, "domestic endeavors" (haha!) such as baking bread, crafting and decorating my home for the seasons.

I'm a Florida girl, married to hubby for 45 years. I'm mom to 2 grown boys and Nana to 3 girls who light up my life. I'm a farm girl at heart and I love being in the country near all the little critters who live here. I enjoy reading, making crafts, spending time with family and friends and traveling to the beach in the Summer and the mountains in the Fall. I'm a cat lover, owl lover and cows JUST MAKE ME HAPPY! I love bright colors. ESPECIALLY shades of green.

It was a lazy day here..we enjoyed our little trip up to the mtns yesterday. Now the rain begins..will linger thru mid week. Have thoroughly enjoyed the fall like temps. By the end of the week we will see 90..

Afternoon,  still not feeling well., tried to go downstairs but so dizzy'

and seeing double., made english muffin and a cup of coffee., haven't eating since thursday.

but going back up stairs.  Happy Mothers day to all the moms  ,dad's and all the aunts uncles everyone that takes a place of a mom.

Hi Beth,
I hope you are having a wonderful Mother's Day. Even though it's just plain wet here off and on it's been a great day so far. My oldest daughter and her family stopped in and every year she gives me a hanging Fushia or bleeding heart plant. This years is so full and gorgeous! I will be going to her house for a spaghetti supper in awhile :)
Later I will skype with my youngest daughter and grandchildren who live out of state.
